Gymnast Aly Raisman Impresses In Bikini With Upside-Down Handstand

Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman is likely still dining out on that handstand photo. The Massachusetts-born athlete, who retired in 2016, continues to showcase her gymnast skillset on social media, although it's more a brand deals affair these days.

Posting to celebrate her ongoing partnership with apparel brand Aerie in 2021, Aly wowed her Instagram fans as she delivered a jaw-dropping handstand in a skimpy bikini. Aly showed off a mismatched swimwear look. However, it was her killer figure and excellent flexibility that got fans. The post was also a win-win, given that Aly is paid to promote Aerie on her social.

Posing upside down as she leaned against a palm tree for support, Aly flaunted her Olympic-level flexibility as she delivered a mind-blowing handstand.

Going cute and sporty in a sexy bikini, the brunette modeled a tight, booty-baring pair of bikini bottoms in black plus a textured, patterned top in gray. Going for a sports bra finish-up top, Aly showed off her toned back, arms, and steely-strong legs.

Letting her dark locks flow loosely as she wore her hair down, Aly kept her makeup simple and summery. She opted only for a little light foundation and cheek bronzer as she sunkissed.

In a caption, Aly wrote: "Throwback to this fun shoot." Stars, including actress Alexandra Daddario and singer Kelsea Ballerini, also front Aerie. For Raisman, though, it's a level up from influencer as she boasts collaborations with Aerie.

Aly might not be competing on the mat anymore, but the Amazon partner still keeps in shape. Her IG has shown off those Pilates moves, plus the star's cute sense of workout style.

"Gymnastics taught me hard work, dedication, passion, and the importance of loving what you are doing. Taking into account what I've learned from my gymnastics career, I try to approach each situation with compassion, and when I set my mind to something, I do it to the best of my ability. I try to be mindful of not comparing myself to others, which can be hard at times, and instead focus on being the best version of myself," Aly told Aerie as she fronted its #AerieReal campaign.

Aly is followed by over 2 million on Instagram. Her account tends to focus on her wellness and meditation practices, but fans get the occasional sexy miniskirt look or workout moment. They've even gotten a twinning bathrobe video with fellow Olympian Simone Biles recently.

"When training, I was a perfectionist and very hard on myself. Today, I'm working on being the best I can be while also learning not to be so critical of myself," Aly further told Aerie.
