Anthony Bourdain used his bathrobe belt to hang himself, and officials have announced there was no foul play in his death.
French prosecutor Christian de Rocquigny released details of the "No Reservations" star's death, and that a toxicology report has been conducted to determine if Bourdain had taken any drugs or alcohol, to help his family better understand why he chose to end his life.
Rocquigny also made it clear they do not suspect any foul play or that anyone was in the room with Bourdain when he died: "There is no element that makes us suspect that someone came into the room at any moment."
As The Blast reported, Bourdain was found dead in his hotel room while on location shooting an episode of his hit travel show, "Parts Unknown."
After the prosecutor revealed that Bourdain used a belt to hang himself, he also noted that it did not appear much planning had gone into the suicide.
The entire world has mourned Bourdain's death since hearing the tragic news, and as we reported, Rose McGowan is flying to Rome to console Bourdain's girlfriend, Asia Argento in her time of need.
