What started off as a celebration for Lindsie Chrisley turned out to be setting herself up for online outrage! The eldest daughter of the Chrisleys clan turned 34 and shared the glorious day with her followers on Instagram, who didn't take it well.
The jubilee post came on the heels of her sister, Savannah Chrisley mourning the loss of her ex-fiancee, Nic Kerdiles, who died in a ghastly motorcycle accident over the weekend. The former Anaheim Duck star motorcycle ran through a stop sign around Central Nashville to collide with an oncoming BMW.
Lindsie Chrisley Draws Fire After Birthday Post
The reality star reminisced on year 33 as she tagged it "a year of many life lessons" in her 34th birthday post on Instagram. Lindsie shared a series of pictures featuring her new boyfriend, Trent, as they stepped out for date night.
The former "Chrisley Knows Best" star looked chic in a floral miniskirt and black top ensemble. She paired her super casual look with chic suede boots and a leather bag with fringe details as she wore her blonde locks in a messy wavy do.
Trent looked handsome in a white shorts and black t-shirt ensemble and finished off with white sneakers. Chrisley added a lengthy caption to the birthday pictures as she wrote:
"When you take responsibility for the choices you make and the path that you walk, you can fine tune your approach until you do see the results you want. + These were the ones I was looking for. "
Never the one to leave any stone unturned, the birthday girl shared some of her favorite love quotes, including one that read, "The best love story is when you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time." seemingly referring to her new love with Trent.
She rounded up the caption by tagging friends and professing her admiration for rumored couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. However, the fans couldn't help but react to the timing of this post, especially with her sister's current situation.
A concerned fan wrote, "Kind of rude to show your happiness at a time your siblings are moarning the loss of Nick. Do you have a heart at all? while another person added, "Guess you werent close to Nik.......you cant even post your condolenses to your sister and your other siblings who are hurting....its all about you and your man....."
One more displeased queried, "NOT ONE WORD FROM YOU FIR YOUR SISTERS EX DYING❓❓❓❓❓❓❓" as a fourth follower quickly reminded her that her siblings were "hurting" over Kerdiles, who was a "huge part of their lives."
Following Kerdiles's death, Savannah posted an emotional video of herself and the 29-year-old, including a picture of them sleeping together and his proposal. The reality star detailed her struggle with accepting his passing, which left her "sad and so numb." She shared that they met when she was 20 and he was 23. In her words:
"We were just kids learning about life and love and trying to make it all work."
Lindsie Denied Savannah's Allegation About Their Parents' Imprisonment
Lindsie's recent act does not exactly come as a surprise to those who are aware of the Chrisleys' situation and the half-sisters not being on talking terms. The Blast shared that Savannah pointed fingers at Lindsie over Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley's prison sentence.
The Chrisleys were incarcerated after being found guilty of fraud and tax evasion charges, and The Sassy by Savannah owner is sure Lindsie played a huge role in the case. Speaking on her podcast "Unlocked with Savanna Chrisley," the 26-year-old alleged that her other half-siblings from Todd and Teresa Terry's marriage didn't like her own mom-Julia.
She also shared that Lindsie worked with the government for two years and "got herself in a mess that she tried to find her way out of that was a difficult way to find her way out of."
However, Lindsie's lawyer swiftly countered Savannah's claims, stating that Lindsie was the only sibling who defended her parents in her testament, and she was largely unaware of the investigation.
He emphasized that contrary to Savannah's claim, the mother of one has no bad blood towards her, and she just didn't want to deal with any drama after patching things up with Todd. Lindsie's lawyer further said Savannah's accusations are not based on fact but rather "anger and frustration and many different types of frustration."
