Alicia Keys Has Taken The First Step Toward Cementing Her Name In The Tea World

Alicia had double reason to celebrate in 2020 when she not only hosted the 2020 Grammy Awards for the second time but also got a special birthday gift from Swizz. The gift, as it turned out, was a tea line named 'Alicia's Teas,' which drew laughs from the renowned many observers at the time.

Now, over three years later, TMZ has reported that the "No One" hitmaker, through her company, AK Worldwide, submitted an application to secure the rights to the name. The update is a sign of her entry into the world of tea products, meaning that her husband's joke that the product would be retailed through Starbucks might be manifesting pretty soon.

Even without having all the details of the trademark filing, fans have already begun imagining that the Columbia University alum would infuse her authenticity in her latest business venture. At the same time, others are stuck on calculating just how much money the Keep a Child Alive co-founder will rake in and what her 2023 net worth will look like.

As it stands, Alicia has already built a sizable fortune for herself, establishing numerous endorsements and brand partnerships throughout her career. So far, she has been associated with American Express since 2007 and has her own skincare and beauty line called "Keys Soulcare" in collaboration with e.l.f. Beauty.

Thus, one can only imagine what the 42-year-old made from the largest publicly traded property casualty insurance company in the United States, thanks to her star power. Additionally, Alicia's appearance as a coach on "The Voice" earned some big bucks, bringing in an impressive $8 million per season.
