Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess are heading to the aisle, and it was a stunning surprise.

Three wholesome years after falling head over heels for each other, the lovebirds took their relationship to the next level. The adorable pair announced their engagement on a recent episode of their iHeartRadio podcast, "Old-ish."

Although they are just sharing the joyous news, the soon-to-be spouses celebrated their new status two months earlier. During their discussion with fellow host Randy Spelling, the couple recalled the unique proposal and how it occurred as a double surprise.

The September 22 update of their "Old-ish" podcast saw the former "Dancing With The Stars" teammates raving about their engagement. Echoing similar excitement, the professional dancer and her fiancé recounted the emotional proposal to Tori Spelling's brother.

"He proposed to me!" the Australian sensation gushed with her beau patting himself on the back, saying, "I did the thing." Burgess revealed the couple's relationship status was not a recent event, to which Green confirmed he had proposed on his 50th birthday party in July.

"Sharna threw me this surprise party, and I was like, 'That's a perfect place to do it. She'd never see it coming,'" the TV personality recalled. Shedding light on how the special moment happened, the choreographer explained the "Anger Management" actor had enlisted the help of his children.

The California native shares his oldest son Kassius with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil, three boys — Noah, Bodhi, and Journey — with his ex-wife Megan Fox, and a son Zane with his new fiancée. The 50-year-old's youngest kids supported their father's engagement, making it an emotional moment for Burgess.

"The kids come in with him. Noah is holding Zane, and Journey is holding this little red Cartier box. And they all come in there, and they stand next to Brian," the 38-year-old revealed. "He takes the box from Journey, and he says, 'Would you spend the rest of your life with us?'"

"I was just looking at him like, 'I can't believe this is really happening,'" the Australian beauty confessed, stressing that she never expected the proposal to occur on the same day she threw a surprise party for her beau.

Despite her initial shell-shocked reaction, the pro dancer happily accepted the ring. "Of course, I said yes, and I put that ring on my finger, and I hugged all of them, and it was the most perfect, beautiful unit because it was us, our unit, our tribe," the media personality chimed.

"I love that that's how he wanted to do it…To have this beautiful, intimate moment with my people, my tribe standing right there, bringing me in with this gorgeous ring that is a dream," Burgess raved about the sweet proposal. "I didn't know what to do with myself other than to just say, 'Yes. Yes to this lifetime, yes to all the lifetimes.'"

The "So You Think You Can Dance" alum loved the children's involvement so much that she had to recreate it in the couple's joint engagement announcement. On her Instagram page, Burgess shared a touching video of her blended family alongside the caption, "Our latest chapter."

The clip, set to a moving poetry reading by Whitney Hanson, began with the patriarch's large hand followed by the adorable tiny hands of his youngest sons, Noah, Bodhi, Journey, and Zane. In the end, Burgess added her dainty hand to the pile, flaunting the stunning diamond gem on her wedding finger.
