Lil Tay Says XXXTentacion Was a 'Father Figure' In Tearful Tribute

XXXTentacion's murder has rocked fans and friends, and one of those most effected by the loss appears to be Lil Tay.

The 9-year-old social media star returned from a hiatus on Instagram to lament over the loss of X, who she described as a "father figure."

"X you truly changed me ❤ you were there for me when everyone wanted me to fail, you were there to give me advice, you were there. As a father figure, when I don’t have one, you were here, FaceTiming me and calling me for hours when I’m down," Tay wrote.

She also claimed to have been involved in the charity event X was planning this weekend in Florida, and that she was going to be flying out to participate. As we reported, the "changes" rapper was planning multiple charity events focused on suicide prevention and awareness.

Tay has been known for leaning into her hard persona on Instagram, however it's clear how upset she is over the situation, writing "I love you best friend. I Love you X."
