Trans actress Angelica Ross has accused Emma Roberts of being transphobic during their time on the set of "American Horror Story: 1984" in 2018.

Ross claimed that Roberts misgendered her in the presence of another cast member, John Carroll Lynch, who advised the "ladies" (Ross and Roberts) to get along between takes. The "Pose" actress revealed that Roberts responded with, "Don't you mean 'lady,'" before walking away.

However, Ross shared that she chose not to report this behavior, fearing retaliation, citing a previous incident where someone who spoke up was punished.

Ross also revealed that Ryan Murphy, the show's creator, ceased communication with her after she proposed the idea of an all-Black season. The 42-year-old shared her disappointment on social media, posting a screenshot of an email from Murphy sent in July 2020.

The email read, "Remember your idea about a Horror season starring Black women? Well, I'm doing it. I'm unsure of the story, but we will start a writer's room in the fall. Along with you, who are the four women I should get? I think you, Keke Palmer, Gabby [Sidibe] … not sure of the fourth?"

"I sent one last email in Feb 2022 (it took about a year to film season 10 due to COVID) while still contractually in first position with the show," she shared.

The email read, "Good morning, up cleaning and organizing and thinking about what season 11's focus could be and then just thought maybe just ask you when that formulates if I could be on the producing side as well. I could add much to the overall storyline if we still want to do a Black lead cast."

She noted that during this period of not hearing back from Murphy, Marvel had contacted her twice.

Ross expressed her frustration in a subsequent tweet, stating that the lack of communication significantly impacted her career. She claimed the situation cost her a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and explained that her calls had been consistently ignored.

The "Queering the Script" star emphasized that it wasn't just the change of the idea that bothered her but the months of trying to clarify her contract status.

"It's that I called business affairs for MONTHS trying to get clarity if they were picking up my contract option or if I was ok to tell Marvel that I was available for whatever they were calling me for," she explained.

Before her video calling out Roberts, Ross continued to share her frustration on Twitter, implying that she had more revelations to come.

"Please ask somebody about me. If I'm at the point of publicly showing receipts, you can believe I don't have any f***s left to give when it comes down to it. And I'm not even done pulling out the receipts."

Ross also hinted at complaints about racism on set that were dismissed as "free speech." She indicated her readiness to address these issues further, emphasizing her determination by referencing a scene from the movie, "Pretty Woman," which starred Julia Roberts, the aunt of her co-star, Emma Roberts, whom she accused of transphobia.
