However, many of his fans believe it is nothing but a concerted effort by the government to silence the English actor because he has spoken against them in the past.

The first woman claimed Brand raped her without a condom against a wall in his Los Angeles home, preventing her from leaving his house. Another alleged victim, who was 16 at the time of their relationship,  accused the media personality of sexual assault and emotional abuse.

Brand, who was 30, reportedly engaged in the "behaviors of a groomer" with the underage victim. The third woman claimed to be a colleague of the actor and was assaulted while she worked with him on a project. He also threatened legal actions if she ever spoke about it.

He alleged that the accusations were nothing but a "co-ordinated attack" from a TV company and newspapers who have sent him letters containing a "a litany" of "aggressive attacks" in the past. He has since received support from the likes of Elon Musk and Andrew Tate.

Fans online are also siding the former husband of pop singer Katy Perry and have shared their thoughts on why the allegations are nothing but lies.

One Internet user alleged, "They go after people who speak out against the MSM narrative They tried it with Trump, Tucker, Elon I support Russell 💯." Another fan shared a similar sentiment, writing,

This Twitter user believes that while Brand might not be completely innocent, the allegations have been greatly exaggerated. "I’m sure he’s done a few things in his time that skirted the legal/illegal line, but is it to the extent he’s being accused of doing?" the fan asked.

Another netizen observed, "They are all soooooo concerned about Russell Brand but not one ☝️ person on the Epstein flight log has been arrested."

A fan who believes the comedian is being subjected to trial by media wrote, "Difficult, feels like a trial by media. The worst I think he’s actually been accused of is picking up a 16-year-old girl from school and going back to his place. So far as I’ve understood it, 16 is the age of consent in the UK, and so long as she consented to this, no offence has been committed. As for the rest, it looks unsubstantiated so far, but maybe that will change."

Why Do Fans Believe Brand Is A Target Of The Government?

It is no surprise that the "Army Of One" star has a strong online community rooting for him, given how he has spoken out against the government and politics.

Amid his allegations, a former clip of him during an interview with Bill Maher saw him put the government on blast about how they handled COVID-19.

Going against the warning of Maher who told him "this is not the place," Brand read out facts about how the pandemic created "40 new big Pharma billionaires" and how some companies made as much as $1,000 in profit per second.

"More than two-thirds of Congress received campaign funding from Pharmaceutical companies in the 2020 election," the comedian also claimed. Brand challenged that the American government was creating an economy where pharmaceutical companies benefited greatly from medical emergencies.

In addition, a viral video on TikTok by a mystery woman claimed that she was contacted by a journalist from The Times after she spoke about a weekend shared with Brand.

She alleged that the news company wanted to create a documentary about the actor's wrongdoings but didn't use her story because she portray Brand as an "asshole" who took advantage of her.

The accused actor also has the support of Katie Hopkins, an English political commentator, who believes Brand is being attacked by the "left."
