The royal family appeared to snub Prince Harry's birthday by making no public wishes for him. The Duke of Sussex, who turned 39 on September 15, got no recognition from the royal family's social media. The account shared photos of other royals instead.
Harry, however, received birthday wishes from the Invictus Games athletes with whom he spent the special day. The prince reportedly plans to leave for America with his wife, Meghan Markle, without visiting his family. These follow his decision to cut ties with his former life as a full-time royal.

The Royal Family Ignores Prince Harry's 39th Birthday
The royal social media accounts failed to recognize Prince Harry on his 39th birthday. The Duke of Sussex marked his birthday on September 15 with his wife, Meghan Markle, and members of the Invictus Games team. Instead, the royal account spent the day posting about Prince William, King Charles, and other royals.
According to the Daily Mail, a representative from Buckingham Palace noted their decision to post updates on only senior Royal family members.
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, faced the same treatment on her birthday, August 4, as she got no public birthday wishes from the Royal family.
The snob comes after the prince decided to give up his royal title following his wedding to Meghan. Harry has spent some time apart from his family and even refused to visit them during his recent stopover in Britain before his trip to Germany for the Invictus Games.
However, he paid a visit alone to Queen Elizabeth II's grave to mark the anniversary of her death. Queen Elizabeth passed away at 96 on September 8, 2022.
The Invictus Games Athletes Mark Prince Harry's Birthday
Awww…they surprised Prince Harry by singing happy birthday (in German too) and presenting him with an Invictus volunteer shirt, cake, and another pint of beer. #IG23 #InvictusGames #HappyBirthdayPrinceHarry

The Invictus Games family gave Harry a royal welcome during one of their sports events, organized annually for sick and injured servicemen and women. During the ceremony, a representative announced the prince's birthday and asked him to stand up for a warm "Happy Birthday" song.
He asked, "Is there anybody here celebrating their special occasion today? Anyone's birthday? Oh, I think it is someone's birthday. A certain Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, 39 today."
The Duke and Duchess were all smiles as Harry stood up to receive their birthday wishes. Stephen Keller, the Mayor of Düsseldorf, then presented Harry with a happy birthday cake and wished him a long life and success. The cake was decorated in the colors of the Invictus Games and read, "Happy Birthday Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex."
The Duke Enjoyed A Couple Beers On His Birthday
Prior to attending the ceremony, Harry spent the night watching a volleyball match and drinking some German beer. The prince was then spotted having some beers at the restaurant with his wife later that night. He had previously given up drinking while Meghan was pregnant with their son Archie.
At the time, Harry gave up drinking caffeine and alcohol altogether, sticking with juices and teas to support his wife during her pregnancy. The prince also reportedly quit smoking during that period in 2018.
When they were abstaining from alcohol, the duo went out in public and raised glasses of water while everyone else raised glasses of wine.
Prince Harry Is 'Over The Moon' Thanks To Meghan Markle
Amid rumors of the couple ending their marriage, Harry and Meghan's recent outings have proved them difficult to believe. Royal Commentator Ulrike Grunewald recently noted to Vanity Fair that Harry looked "happier" than he had been in a while, and he owes this to Meghan.
He explained, "Now that Meghan is here, he is over the moon. They have been holding hands, cheering competitors on at various matches and games. They seem intimate and very close. Either that or they are very good actors. From where I've been watching, they seem very in love."
The Duke and Duchess confirmed this with their appearance at the Invictus Games basketball match between USA and France.
During the games, photos caught the prince holding Meghan's hands and whispering into her ear. The duchess was equally affectionate to her husband as she comforted him during a stressful moment. The duo finally gleamed with excitement as the USA team won the basketball game against France. Their PDA at the game counters rumors of the couple's alleged plans to end their marriage.
