Halle Berry isn't very happy with Drake (or SZA), given that they used one of her pictures to promote their new song, "Slime You Out." You can guess what the picture was, right?
Halle Berry Decides To Be The "Bigger Man"
On September 15, both Drake and SZA put up a picture of Halle Berry, covered in slime aka Nickelodeon, to promote their new song, "Slime You Out."
Both their pictures carried barfing emojis with Drake adding in a green heart and SZA putting up a giggling face, with watching eyes. While everybody seems to love the song, with fans writing that both their voices blend together beautifully, Halle Berry isn't all that happy. Apparently, her picture was used by them both without her permission but even so, all she sent out was a subtle putdown - writing in a post she shared online, "Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy, even if you're a woman!"
Not everyone felt she had the right to be miffed, as one Instagram user sent her the cut-direct, "You literally not even the actual official cover art, he just posted that pic to announce it. You tryin' way too hard to be a victim."
Another fan also felt her anger was unwarranted, as they wrote, "Man no way you really mad with dude for using that old a-- photo? He didn’t get your permission to wear you on his jacket that time and you weren’t upset!"
Here's that post that has displeased Halle Berry:

Halle Berry "Thought Better" Of Drake Than This
One fan finally upped and asked Halle Berry, "What are your thoughts [on] Drake using that picture of you for his single?"
She replied, "Didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool I thought better of him!" She also wrote another reply to the comment, "Hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!"
Another social media user felt, "I would be more upset about the meaning of the pic. 'Slime you' what does that mean exactly? Hmm..." Halle had a reply here too, agreeing with the commenter, "Exactly! What does that mean?"
Meanwhile, it's not as if Drake's quietly sitting down. While he's not responded to Berry's accusations directly, he did have this to say:

While many felt it was a gross representation of a "sex act," another offered, "If y’all weren’t old you would understand how deep it isn’t lmao… “slime you” means doing someone wrong in a relationship… end of story." More followers agreed, "She was covered in slime at the [Nickelodeon] Kid's Choice awards and that’s literally a line in the song😂 Not that serious."

THIS Is Why She's Even More Upset With Drake
Finally, when the to and fro between commenters kept going on, some taking Berry's side and the others taking Drake's, one fan asked her upfront, "While I do understand your side, that photo is owned by Getty Images. So I'm sure he got their permission. And paid the fee. 🙌🏼 why are you mad?"
The "Monster's Ball" actress also shot straight from the hip, writing, "Cuz he asked me and I said NO that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do? That was the f--k you to me. Not cool You get it?"
Many saw her POV clearly, as one wrote, "Omg! He asked you. You are a f--king icon and one of those ones that’s off-limits. This was so disrespectful. What happened to respect & protect? I’m so mad!!!"
Of course, there were still many who felt that Berry was making a mountain out of a molehill, and all Drake had to say in reply, is this:
TLDR; it seems Drake reached out to Halle Berry and asked to use her slime-covered picture to promote his and SZA's new song. Berry refused but Drake went and used it anyway. What are your thoughts on it all?
