The Children In Crisis Ambassador Introduced Her Second Child In A Lovely Instagram Post

About a week after welcoming baby Ernest, Princess Eugenie publicized the news on her Instagram using two shots and a detailed caption revealing the inspiration behind his name.

The philanthropist began, "Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, on 30th May, 2023, at 8.49, weighing 7.1lbs."

She then wrote that Ernest was named after his great-great-great grandad George, his grandfather George, and her grandpa Ronald. At the end of the note, she gushed about her firstborn, August, treasuring his role as a big brother, which fans witnessed in her second uploaded picture, showing the child stroking his little brother's head.

Ernest’s middle names, "George" and "Ronnie," paid homage to Queen Elizabeth’s late grandfather King George V, Jack’s father, George, and her mother’s father, Ronald. Eugenie's second son placed him as 13th in the line of succession to the British throne, following his big brother August.
