The drama in the Chrisley family continues as daughters Lindsie and Savannah raise concerns about their relationship amid their parents' incarceration.

The half-sisters once had a strained bond over Lindsie's estrangement from the family and years-long feud with their father, Todd Chrisley. However, things appeared resolved until Savannah accused her sibling of participating in her parents' imprisonment.

In 2022, the real estate mogul and his second wife, Julie Chrisley, were found guilty of fraud and tax evasion charges. The Sassy by Savannah founder believed her sister helped the government put the duo behind bars. However, the oldest of the Chrisley brood begged to differ.

The drama between the siblings began after the "Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley" podcast host's recent claims about her sister's involvement in the fraud case. According to the 26-year-old, she and Lindsie were not on speaking terms.

The former beauty pageant competitor implied their relationship had always been shaky, noting that her father's children from his first marriage to Teresa Terry did not like her mother. In the entertainer's words:

“She and my oldest brother [Kyle] from my dad’s first marriage, my mom always treated them as if they were hers. They didn’t necessarily treat her the same.”

Following Savannah's bombshell interview, Lindsie addressed the matter through her lawyer, Musa Ghanayem. The legal practitioner told PEOPLE that his client had no bad blood with her younger sibling as she understood her difficult position.

The attorney stated the former Miss Tennessee Teen USA titleholder was in a "tough spot" because of her responsibilities as caretaker of her younger brother Grayson and her adopted sister Chloe. The little girl is the biological daughter of her half-brother, Kyle, but Todd and Julie adopted her before their incarceration.

"She's dealing with a lot, and it doesn't surprise me that she's lashing out at Lindsie," Ghanayem claimed. "I mean, some of the stuff that she's saying with regard to her parents, that's got to be out of anger because it's not in fact."

As for Savannah's tales about her sister's involvement in the fraud case, the lawyer refuted her allegations. According to the legal practitioner, Lindsie was the only sibling who testified in her parents' defense, plus the information brought to light proved she was unaware of the investigation.

Ghanayem stressed that despite Lindsie's reconciliation with Todd after their estrangement, the mother of one "didn't want to deal with any of the drama." Because of her mindset, the media personality bore no "ill will" about her younger sister's claims.

"She's Savannah's punching bag this week. She's really young — young to be dealing with all this, and there's no doubt about it," Lindsie's attorney said. "Because nothing she's saying is based in fact, right? It's got to be based out of anger and frustration and many different types of frustration."

As stated, the "Growing Up Chrisley" star called out her older sibling during her recent appearance on "The Viall Files" podcast. The 26-year-old claimed Lindsie betrayed their family, noting she was "very heavily involved" in her parents' case by working with the government.

Savannah explained, "In the court transcripts, it was said that she had worked with the government for two years, but during [the] trial, certain things she said was like, ‘Hey, what the government’s saying is not accurate.’"

"I just think she got herself in a mess that she tried to find her way out of that was a difficult way to find her way out of," the TV personality added.
