Ariana Grande is embracing aging like a queen! The Nickelodeon alum got emotional while discussing her past self and why she no longer depends on cosmetic treatments.

The multi-hyphenate star recently gave a candid insight into her makeup regime for the latest edition of Vogue's Beauty Secrets. In the video, the 30-year-old addressed how her perspective of beauty had changed.

The "Sam & Cat" star, who has never opened up about using cosmetic procedures, revealed she previously depended on botox and lip fillers to cover her true self. The blonde beauty fought back tears as she reflected on the journey to accepting her natural beauty.

In the YouTube video for the entertainer's appearance in an episode of Vogue's Beauty Secrets, the "Side to Side" hitmaker showed off her makeup skills while discussing her beauty tips. However, the conversation got heavy when the Florida native addressed her relationship with beauty.

According to the Nickelodeon alum, starting her career at a young age made her susceptible to people's opinions about her appearance. From criticisms to beauty tips, the TV personality confessed that her past self could not differentiate between good and bad advice.

As a result, she chose to hide behind her makeup. Instead of letting the public pick on her natural beauty, the "7 Rings" artist disguised herself with voluminous hair and thick eyeliner.

"I, over the years, used makeup as a disguise or as something to hide behind," the Florida beauty admitted, noting that she still loved her old style. However, the 12-time Teen Choice Award recipient no longer wished to use makeup as a facade.

"I think as I get older, I don't love that being the intention behind it anymore. I think of it as self-expression now and accentuating what is here," the media personality explained. "Our relationships to beauty are so personal. Like, we're here talking about beauty secrets. Isn't the secret that we all just wanna feel our best and to be loved?"

To feel at her best, Grande stated she did not need cosmetic injections like she did five years ago. Admitting to getting the beauty boosters, the "Victorious" star announced: "I've had a ton of lip filler over the years. And botox. I stopped in 2018 'cause I just felt so too much. I just felt like hiding, you know?"

As she spoke, the multi-hyphenate entertainer's eyes welled up with tears, and tried to play off her pain by noting she never expected to get "emotional." The blonde beauty took a moment to regain her composure before reaffirming that she previously associated beauty with hiding.

Now, the "Positions" songstress is ready to embrace her aging features without cosmetic treatments. "But I know for me, I was just like, 'Oh, I wanna see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines,'" the 30-year-old revealed.

"I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper, and I laugh more and more. And I just think aging is like such a, it can be such a beautiful thing," Grande declared. Nevertheless, the "Wicked" star is not saying never to cosmetic procedures.

Now, might I get a facelift in 10 years? Might, yeah! But these are just thoughts that I feel like we should be able to discuss," she said. "If we're sitting here talking about beauty secrets, f--- it let's lay it all out there

The Streamy Award Winner Revealed She Was 'Nervous' While Shooting The Beauty Secrets Video

Following the release of her Vogue appearance, the "Thank U, Next" singer shared snippets of the video on her Instagram. The two-slide post featured a collage capturing various moments from the TV personality's makeup application and a full snap of Grande's natural face.

In the caption, the Florida beauty confessed she felt anxious while filming the video. However, the entertainer was proud of the outcome and expressed her gratitude to Vogue magazine alongside some key team members.

"Most nervous I've been in so long and definitely not the best I've ever done my makeup but had a very lovely time :)" The multi-hyphenate star penned. "Thank you for having me @voguemagazine and for making space for my very Cancerian humanness."

The post received over two million likes and numerous supportive comments from the "Swindle" actress's fans and loved ones. Her mother, Joan Grande, proudly commemorated her achievement with the sweet words: "You are magnificent! Inside and out! I love you."
