Lauren Sanchez Flaunts King-Sized Engagement Ring From Jeff Bezos In Form-Fitting Dress

Lauren Sanchez wants to let the world know that she is taken.

The co-chair of the Bezos Earth fund has been flaunting her engagement ring from billionaire Jeff Bezos during high-profile events. Recently, she was spotted donning it at the Caring for Women Gala in New York.

Per reports, Bezos popped the question in May after dating Sanchez for a couple of years. Since taking their relationship public in 2019, the two have been seen packing on the PDA and going on romantic trips.

According to the Daily Mail, Sanchez turned up at the Caring for Women Gala in New York with her engagement ring from billionaire fiancée Jeff Bezos on full display on her left hand.

The massive jewelry consists of a 20-carat round cut diamond stone placed on a silver band designed with smaller diamonds. The huge rock is believed to be made from a diamond's highest possible color and clarity grade.

The ring is also reportedly worth millions of dollars, which is unsurprising given Bezos' immense wealth.

Sanchez looked stunning on the red carpet for the event, donning a gold halterneck maxi dress that fit snugly on her body. She matched the outfit with diamond earrings and several bangles on her hands. She also wore her hair loose, with her face adequately made up.

Sanchez has been seen wearing the ring on multiple occasions and has been the subject of much media attention. While the exact day her beau popped the question is unclear, it is believed that it went down aboard his $500 million yacht sometime in May.

At the time, the couple were vacationing together in the South of France. Pictures of them enjoying a cheeky outing and turning up at the Cannes Film Festival circulated online, with Sanchez's ring spotted on both occasions.

The duo was reportedly dating on a low-key before the Amazon founder announcedis divorce from his wife of 25 years, Mackenzie Scott. They eventually made their relationship public in January 2019, when Sanchez ended her marriage of 13 years to Patrick Whitesell.

Sánchez has two kids with the Hollywood agent, plus a son from a former relationship with retired NFL star Tony Gonzalez. Meanwhile, Bezos shares four kids with Scott.

Since taking their relationship public, Sanchez and Bezos have often packed on the PDA and gushed about themselves.

In January, the female journalist penned a cute message to celebrate Bezos' birthday, in which she thanked him for his impact on her life.

"Happy birthday to the man of my dreams, who lights up my world with laughter and kind heart. You have shown me that no great love is not bravely fought for," Sánchez posted on her Instagram page.

"I am so grateful for the memories we have made and the adventures yet to come," she added. "Here's to many more birthdays filled with love and laughter."

Alongside the message, Sanchez shared several throwback photos from their relationship, including shots from their trips to Columbia and Rome.

The couple has been primarily involved in advocating for climate change amid their sailing around the world and other adventurous activities.

In an interview in November, Bezos shared that he planned on giving away most of his $124 billion fortune throughout his life.

"The hard part is figuring out how to do it in a levered way," said the former Amazon CEO, per People. "It's not easy. Building Amazon was not easy. It took a lot of hard work, a bunch of brilliant teammates, hard-working teammates, and I'm finding — and I think Lauren is finding the same thing — that charity, philanthropy, is very similar."

"There are many ways that I think you could do ineffective things, too," he added. "So you have to think about it carefully, and have brilliant people on the team."

Bezos plans to donate around $10 billion over ten years to the Bezos Earth Fund, which will support climate change advocacy as part of his strategy to give away his wealth.
