Lauren Boebert Appears To Flip Someone Off After Being Kicked Out Of 'Beetlejuice'

Surveillance footage seems to show Lauren Boebert flipping someone off after she was escorted out of a performance of "Beetlejuice" in Denver.

The United States Representative and her companion were asked to leave a performance after reports of rowdy behavior that disrupted the experience for other attendees.

The Republican Congresswoman from Colorado was seen on video footage being escorted out of a performance of “Beetlejuice” at the Buell Theater in Denver. According to NBC News, the incident happened on Sunday night, when a performance of the popular show was interrupted by her behavior.

Officials with the Denver Arts & Venues wrote an incident report that was obtained by the NBC affiliate that does not mention Boebert or her companion by name; however, they can be seen being escorted off the premises in surveillance footage that was later uploaded to YouTube.

In the video, you can see Boebert appearing to give someone the middle finger as she and her companion are being led down the hallway.

According to the report, the two were notified that their behavior – which involved “vaping, singing [and] causing a disturbance” – was bothering other attendees and asked to stop. At least three complaints were made about their behavior before they were asked to leave the show.

Although they were not named in the incident report, her manager, Drew Sexton, confirmed that the incident did take place in a brief statement to NBC News.

“I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of Beetlejuice, which the Denver Post itself described as ‘zany’, ‘outrageous’, and a ‘lusty riot,’” Sexton wrote in a statement.

He went on to say “appreciates the Buell Theatre’s strict enforcement of their no photos policy and only wishes the Biden Administration could uphold our border laws as thoroughly and vigorously.”

Although she was kicked out of the performance, he claims that she “strongly encourages” everyone to see “Beetlejuice” and praised the show’s “fantastic cast, tremendous visuals and plenty of loud laughs.” He also passed along a “gentle reminder to leave their phones outside of the venue.”

On Tuesday, September 12, Lauren Boebert took to X, formerly known as Twitter to “plead guilty” to the accusations that she was having too much fun during the performance.

“It's true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!” she wrote. “Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!”

One user commented, “You shouldn't recommend things you didn't get to see the end of, Lauren. Like musicals you were kicked out of. Or high school.”
