Rachel 'Raquel' Leviss is FINISHED with her "Vanderpump Rules" past in more ways than one!
Following Leviss' revelation that she would not be returning to the hit Bravo sensation for its upcoming season and her revealing recent three-part interview on Bethenny Frankel's podcast, Leviss, 29, is taking yet another step to separate herself from all things "Vanderpump Rules."
For those viewers who do not identify as Bravo devotees, Leviss has received intense backlash since the reveal of her affair with 'VPR' co-star Tom Sandoval earlier this year. Sandoval has had a long-term relationship with fellow VPR co-star Ariana Madix for nearly ten years.
The world was able to nab a peek into the trio's reality over the ensuing months courtesy of the series' tenth-season reunion. The trio's cast mates, Lisa Vanderpump herself, were also incredibly affected by the affair and would gather to blow off steam.
Months have passed since the reunion, and as Leviss hasn't been shy about expressing lately, she's done, especially with her ex. Read on to discover Leviss' new plan to keep Sandoval out of her life forever!
Madix Responded To Leviss' Controversial Interview
Madix has had a challenging year, and it seems like Frankel hasn't made her healing process any easier.
She did not keep quiet about Leviss' interview on Frenkel's podcast, "Just B With Bethenny Frankel."
According to our piece on Madix's reaction, the "Vanderpump Rules" star was frank about her feelings toward Frankel. The "Real Housewives of New York" alumna "upset" Madix "more in the things that were said" in the conversation after proclaiming Frankel should "know better" than to have interviewed with Leviss.
Madix opened up to her best friend, Scheana Shay, on Shay's podcast "Shenanigans With Scheana Shay," detailing she felt Frankel's proclamations about her childless relationship with Sandoval and the fact that the pair never married were "hurtful and insensitive."
Madix said, "In many states, he was my [common-law spouse]. I find that hurtful in regards to other women in relationships who don't have children. Maybe they can't have children or don't want to get married," she added.
Madix also had some strong words for Frankel; she believes Frankel "did not know what the f**k she was talking about" during the interview.
Leviss Takes Another Step To Protect Her Mental Health
Leviss heavily discussed the effects of' Sandoval' on her mental health since the news broke in March.
She confided in Frankel about one of her "worst fears." The reality star was reportedly afraid of "alienating" her 40-year-old ex down the line.
Leviss also spent some well-documented time in a treatment center for mental health. She would also reveal she believed she "deserved" the scathing comments directed to her by her cast mates during the reunion. Her evolved sense of self has been the key to her refusal to "accept those words" and have them define her character.
Leviss is also no longer allowing Sandoval to to define her life story details! On Tuesday, Leviss posted a screenshot of Sandoval's Instagram profile to her account, showing she had blocked him.
Leviss added a sticker saying, "Ok, bye!" to her screenshot.
According to Page Six, Sandoval had expressed his wishes and feelings in an Instagram comment. The outlet reported Sandoval wrote, "Happy birthday, Rachel; I hope your finding peace and happiness. Miss you, friend."
As of this writing, Sandoval has not responded to Leviss' actions.
Leviss was candid in expressing her belief she "needed" their relationship to become public in her interview with Frankel. (per The Blast) She would call the revelation "the biggest wakeup call" and added she "needed to get caught" to take the necessary steps to work on her mental health.
