Fergie has no problem celebrating her ex-husband Josh Duhamel and his wife Audra Mari.
The singer continues to show that she held no ill will against the lovebirds when she offered her blessing to them after they announced their pregnancy. In fact, the pop star claimed that the child she shares with her former partner was completely over the moon about the update.
Fergie Rejoices At Expansion Of Blended Family Through Ex Josh Duhamel
Less than three weeks after she celebrated their son Axl Jack's 10th birthday, Fergie commemorated the good news of another child on the way. As we observed, the 48-year-old had stepped into Mari's comment section after the latter shared the exciting news of her and Duhamel expecting a baby.
In the image, the beauty pageant titleholder's crimson nails are seen holding a sonogram of her bundle of joy next to a flower stem. She kept the caption simply and straight, writing, "Baby Duhamel coming soon 🤍."
"I am truly happy for you guys🥰🥰 Axl can't wait to be a big brother," Fergie enthusiastically penned in the comments, as one "Twilight" actress Ashley Greene exclaimed, "Congratulations you beautiful people!! 😍."
Similarly, one fan gushed, "The most beautiful news to share for the most beautiful people!! Baby Duhamel is already so loved!! Can't wait, love you so much!" A second devotee also chimed, "Congratulations! The most beautiful news! I'm thrilled for you both!!" and a third added, "So so amazing! You will be the best mama."
These comments look very much like the ones Mari and Duhamel got when they announced their engagement in January 2022. As reported by The Blast, the "All My Children" actor had pulled a fast one on his woman, choosing the idyllic scene of her 28th birthday celebration to pop the big question.
As it turned out, during the former Miss World America's special day at the beach, she had stumbled upon a bottle that had seemingly washed ashore. Contained in the bottle was a piece of paper with the words, "Audra Diane Mari, will you marry me?"
The celebrant could barely hold back her joy, as her man held up the note and they both beamed brightly at the camera. Since the beachside proposal clearly worked out in Duhamel's favor, he promptly shared it via Instagram, alongside the caption:
"It's on!! She found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said YES!! @audramari."
The sweet announcement touched the hearts of thousands, leading to an influx of congratulatory messages and emojis on the post. Notably, Fergie expressed her support for the soon-to-be-married couple by writing, "Congrats!!!" accompanied by a series of green heart emojis.
Fergie & Duhamel Handled Their Divorce Settlement Without Any Drama
When Fergie and Duhamel's marriage crashed in 2019, several onlookers were shocked to see the pair handle their divorce amicably. For starters, the former lovebirds mutually agreed to joint custody and informed the court that they would not seek any form of financial support from each other. Per the docs obtained by The Blast, they claimed:
"Both parties are capable of supporting the Child. The child support agreed to 8 by the Parties is below guideline. The Parties have made the necessary declarations pursuant (to the law) for the Court to approve their stipulation for child support below the guideline formula. At this time no child support shall be ordered and the Court shall reserve jurisdiction over child support."
The settlement also noted that since "both parties are fully self-supporting," they had waived their "right or claim" "to receive support from the other." Regarding the "Big Girls Don't Cry" hitmaker and the "Las Vegas" star's massive fortune, they agreed that "the Court's jurisdiction to award spousal or award support to either Petitioner or Respondent is terminated."
As for any financial arrangements, Fergie and Duhamel informed the court that they had reached a private settlement that encompasses various aspects, such as child custody and support, spousal support, division of community property, and the handling of separate property.
In case you missed it, the duo announced their separation in September 2017, writing in a statement at the time:
"With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family."
