Maluma — real name Juan Luis Londoño Arias — seemingly left the audience in awe after reflexively catching a crutch thrown at him during a recent performance. The incident, captured on video, quickly went viral, highlighting as he flinched for a second before stretching his left hand to grab the flying object.

His quick thinking and composure under pressure saw the "Borro Cassette" singer turning the crutch into a prop. After dancing briefly with the walking aid under his armpit, he placed it opposite him and began swaying his hips in an electrifying way.

Reacting to the video, one fan claimed that Maluma "was supposed to be a keeper at Man U," and another gushed, "Maluma's got some serious reflexes! Who knew catching crutches could be part of his stage act?"

From then on, they began building a bond, which many assumed beyond friendship, especially following the socialite's separation from her then-husband and rapper Kanye West. As the songwriter explained, "People just started talking about it."

Regarding their current relationship, the artist mentioned, "We don't talk that often," but emphasized that they are "good friends" and always wish the best for each other. Kardashian herself had denied the romance rumors when Andy Cohen asked if she and Maluma were dating during a June 2021 reunion special of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." She had stated at the time:

"I've seen him a few times, always in Miami… Such a nice guy."

Later, in July of the same year, the businesswoman got fans talking even more when she posted a cryptic message on her Instagram page, sparking speculation among them. While some followers admired the beauty of the entrepreneur in the single up-close picture she shared, others were more focused on her caption, which read, "You bring out the best in me."

One intrigued Instagram fan asked the mother of four, "Who's bringing out the best in you now because we all know Kanye wasn't doing that," and another exclaimed, "Tired of waiting! When will you tell us about him?" A third Kardashian supporter added, "is this how we find out about you and Maluma ?," and a fourth asserted, "cant wait to see you and Maluma ?? together."
