The carousel displayed the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed with a gorgeous Blenheim particolored coat in her full glory. She had radiant round eyes that glittered with love in each image.

Zelda enjoyed trips to the beach, posing with the couple, playing fetch with Rogen, and snuggling with the actor's wife in the snaps. There was also a video of the puppy wagging her tail excitedly as she watched the Canadian comedian prepare a turkey.

Adding a lengthy caption to the cheerful post, Rogen gave a detailed summary of the canine's life. He began, ''We said goodbye to our perfect girl, Zelda, on Thursday, May 4. She was almost 14 years old.''

The ''Knocked Up'' actor continued, ''She was truly the most amazing, magical creature. She taught us about love, resilience, strength, and kindness. We loved her more than words can describe. Everyone who met her saw what a unique little puppy she was.''

Highlighting the pup's unique traits, the comedian and filmmaker stated that Zelda could stare into a person's soul with her ''gigantic buggy eyes.'' He noted that she made people feel special because her judgemental nature meant only worthy individuals could receive her love.

Rogen further shared details about the canine's achievements. He explained that the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel grew from the ''shy'' puppy no one wanted to adopt to becoming a celebrity dog.
