Cardi B will not be issuing any apologies to the recipient of her tantrum microphone moment!

In July, the sensational rapper clashed with a fan at a show hosted outside Drai's Beachclub & Nightclub. The concertgoer incurred the entertainer's wrath by hurling a cold drink in her face, and the New Yorker retaliated by throwing her mic at the individual.

The incident led to a viral eBay auction for the audio gadget and a police report by the female victim. However, the mother of two waited two months before addressing the matter and why she believed it was a premeditated attack.

Cardi shared her thoughts about the event after one of the show's hosts, Charlamagne, asked if the Grammy winner regretted throwing her microphone at the female fan. "It was really like a quick reaction," the New Yorker confessed before cheekily adding, "And let me tell you motherf**kers, I didn't wanna address it because I thought b**ch was going to jail, but I'm not."

Reflecting on what happened, the "Bodak Yellow" songstress noted the day in question had been "hot as f**k." To relieve herself of the heat, the chart-topper implored the crowd to splash her with water during a segment of her show.

"Even when I told em' to splash me, I was like 'be careful with the face. The face is beat b**ch,'" Cardi continued, noting the viral moment had occurred "four songs" after people stopped splashing her with water.

"Four songs after which is like, I don't know, fifteen, twenty minutes after, this b**ch threw water and ice on my face," the 30-year-old confessed. "So I just automatically reacted. I didn't even know that I was throwing that. I just threw the sh*t because it's like, bitch, you hit me right in my face."

The Soul Train Music Award recipient believed the attack had been premeditated after watching the videos capturing the moment. From the clips she could see the individual had "intended to throw that sh*t" in her face.

Clapping back at those who criticized her actions, the "Up" rapper advised them to throw some ice in their face before telling her how to feel about the attack. Regarding her genuine emotions about the incident, Cardi claimed she felt "very violated" by the concertgoer's actions.

When Charlamagne pointed out that the media personality had asked fans to throw water at her, the New Yorker stressed the request had occurred during an earlier part of her show. The voluptuous beauty then defended herself by noting nobody else had targeted her face.

Addressing her attacker, Cardi declared: "How the f**k ten people splashed me at the same time, and nothing hit my face, but b**ch you-you hit my face directly b**ch." Following her response, the second host, DJ Envy, described the female assailant as a fan, which Cardi swiftly denied.

According to the "Money" hitmaker, the concert attendant was not her admirer but someone "just trying to be funny." Unfortunately, the anonymous concertgoer did not expect the "Drip" hitmaker's retaliation to her alleged joke.

The Hip-hop Star Did Not Face Any Charges Despite Hurling Her Microphone At The Fan

When the mother of two claimed she stayed silent about the mic incident out of fear of going to jail, her worries were not unfounded. Last month, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police confirmed that Cardi would not face any charges for throwing her audio gadget at a fan.

The good news arrived shortly after the concertgoer filed a battery report about the incident. “According to the victim, she was attending an event on July 29, 2023, at a property located in the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard. During a concert, she was struck by an item that was thrown from the stage,” a rep for the authorities announced.

However, the fan's cries of battery did not live to see its day in court, as the matter was eventually closed because of "insufficient evidence." Following the dropped case, Cardi's team of lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld, confirmed there were no charges filed against their client.
