Britney Spears Is ‘Embarrassed’ After Videos Of Her Dancing Surface Online

Pop star Britney Spears is "embarrassed" to see videos of her dancing at a bar in Cabo San Lucas appearing all over social media.

The 41-year-old Princess of Pop is currently on vacation in Mexico amid her divorce from actor Sam Asghari. Although fans are happy to see her out and about, it appears that the "Toxic" singer is not happy about being recorded.

On Wednesday night, the "Circus" singer took to Instagram to share a single snap that featured her standing at a bar in Cabo San Lucas with her bodyguard. "I’m embarrassed as h*ll !!!" she wrote in the caption. "Like a lost idiot I heard music and horns from my car ? !!!  I walked in like a deer in headlights and had no idea I was being recorded from all sides !!!"

"I’m only human and I have no idea what the h*ll is going on with my hair but I made a pit stop in Mexico ?? !!! I’m headed to Italy ?? now to grab my favorite spaghetti and meat BALLS ? !!! I know the owner there so hopefully he can get me in through the back door ???‍♀️ !!!" she added, hinting that she may be looking to enjoy a more low-key vacation from here on out.

Less than an hour after she called out the “embarrassing” footage of her being posted online, she shared another video of her posing in her hotel room in the same strapless red dress. She set the music in this video to Kanye West’s “Fade.”

“Go inside and get out of WAR ZONE !!! I mean come on who’s worth a shot at this point ????????‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ ??? Psss JUST SAYING !!!” she wrote in the caption, seemingly referring to trying to avoid the paparazzi on her way out of Mexico.

One Britney Spears fan account took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a video of Britney "having fun" at a bar in Mexico, wearing the same outfit as the one that Britney posted the photo of. The video, which was posted hours before Britney wrote about how “embarrassed” she was to see the footage, features Briteny dancing in her red dress and sunglasses, with her long blonde hair tied back out of her face.

Even though she felt embarrassed, fans loved to see her enjoying her single life. “Our girl is living her best life,” one fan commented. “I’m so happy for her!” another follower exclaimed. “I’m loving this so much,” a third fan chimed in. “Love to see it,” another follower agreed. “I’m very happy for her. She is enjoying the time she lost in the past. GO BRITNEY!” another fan cheered.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that Britney feels the same way, and it looks like she might be more hesitant to post more videos or photos from her vacation from here on out.

On Tuesday night, Britney took to Instagram to share a video of her dancing in the same long-sleeve red strapless dress that she can be seen wearing in the video. However, she is not wearing her shades on Instagram.

She set one video to Snoop Dogg’s hit song, “Drop It Like It’s Hot” featuring Pharrell Williams and then uploaded another video a short while later, set to the same song.

The pop star actually posted two videos of her dancing in her red dress on Tuesday night.

Although she didn’t write anything in the caption of one video, she did drop three snake emojis in the caption of another, possibly in reference to the lower back tattoo of a snake that she got recently.

On September 1, the “Slumber Party” singer took to Instagram to share a video of her getting her new snake tattoo in Mexico.

She talked about how “excited’ she was for the tattoo in the video and dropped a single snake emoji in the caption.

It appears that the pop star might be trying to “own” the snake symbolism after her 2001 Video Music Awards performance of “I’m A Slave 4 U” when she dances with a snake.

Earlier on Wednesday night, she took to Instagram to share a clip of the performance and promote her upcoming memoir, “The Woman In Me.”

“One of my favorite performances was with an albino python ???? … I still remember how scared I felt when I was handed this snake and took the stage !!! I talked more about this performance and other favorites in my book #TheWomanInMe,” she wrote in the caption. “I can’t wait for you to read it on October 24th.”

If that wasn’t enough, she finished her Wednesday night posting spree with a photo of a pair of lips surrounded by pearls.

“White lips hmmmm ??? !!!” she wrote in the caption, although fans aren’t quite sure of the meaning behind this post yet.
