Paris Jackson Faces Alleged Stalker in Court as She Gets Longterm Protection

Paris Jackson was so serious about making sure her alleged stalker was kept away that she showed up to court and spoke on the pain the situation has caused.

The 20-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson showed up to the courthouse in L.A. Tuesday morning to testify against Nicholas Lewis Stevens, who she claims has an "unhealthy obsession" with her that has evolved into outright stalking. Stevens was also present during the hearing.

It's a pretty amazing move by Jackson, as not many celebrities personally appear for court proceedings involving alleged stalkers. Also amazing that she was able to show up undetected by the paparazzi.

We're told inside the courtroom, Jackson testified from her seat about the emotional distress she's suffered as a result of Stevens' behavior, which she previously claimed culminated when the man followed her to a recording studio last month.

The judge agreed longterm protection was needed and ordered Stevens to stay at least 100 yds away from Jackson for the next three years. He's also barred from going near the recording studio.

Over the weekend, the model/actress addressed the stalking allegations and the need for legal protection while at Comic-Con, tearfully telling fans that "I’ve tried to be civil, I’ve tried to be nice. I tried to end things on a positive note. I can’t really take it anymore."
