Over the Labor Day weekend, Ivanka took to the beach in Miami to have a great time surfing among the waves. The entrepreneur is renowned for her numerous athletic interests, one of which is horseback riding.
For the fun outing, Ivanka wore a yellow one-piece swimsuit that showed off her long legs. She complemented the outfit with a black baseball cap and matching life jacket.
Accompanying her was her seven-year-old son, Theo, as evidenced by the images and video clips she posted on her Instagram page.
In the shot, Theo could be seen flashing a cheerful smile at the camera while Ivanka put up a thumbs-up sign as she surfed the waves. In the backdrop, the city's sprawling urban landscape, adorned with numerous high-rise buildings, provided a striking view.
The post has garnered over 100,000 likes since Ivanka shared it on Monday, eliciting praise from some of her 7.5 million fans.
She Is Yet To Make Any Public Comments About Her Father’s Legal Woes
While Ivanka appears to still be in summer mode, her father hasn't been having the best of times, as he was arrested for the fourth time on August 24, 2023.
The former president was charged with several counts of racketeering, solicitation of election fraud, and conspiracy to commit election fraud in relation to the 2020 election that brought in President Joe Biden.
Since the charges were brought against her father, Ivanka has yet to make any public statements about the case.
However, she and her husband, Jared Kushner, were subpoenaed by special counsel Jack Smith to testify before a grand jury.
She had previously testified for eight hours before a committee set up by the U.S. Congress, which was investigating Donald’s role in the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Ivanka Trump Is Staying Out Of Politics
Ivanka‘s decision to stay silent about her father’s case might be due to her decision to stay away from politics after her father announced his 2024 campaign.
He made the announcement in an address from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in November 2022, where he also took shots at the current administration of President Biden.
In reaction to her father’s statement, Ivanka shared on social media that she was staying out of the political fray.
"I love my father very much," she said at the time, per Daily Mail. "This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family."
She added, "I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena."
She had previously served as a senior adviser to Donald during his term from January 2017 to 2021.
Ivanka Trump Has Been Seen At MAGA Campaign Events
Over six months down the line, sources revealed that Ivanka’s stance hasn't changed despite being seen “far more frequently” at networking and campaign events, per the Daily Mail.
"Jared and Ivanka are not looking to be in politics, and they enjoy spending their summers in Bedminster with Ivanka's father and their kids as they always have,” they told the publication. “They continue to maintain a close personal relationship.”
Another source said that the duo’s presence at such events was due to them still being supportive of Donald.
“They've been spotted more frequently this summer,” said the insider. “They've made it clear they're supportive. They pop into meetings to say hi.”
