Kelly Rowland Inks Her Body In Honor of Demi Lovato

Kelly Rowland has her friend Demi Lovato on her mind, and on her hand, after getting a temporary tattoo in honor of the singer after her overdose.

The Destiny's Child star was at Refinery29's pop-up art installation in Chicago on Wednesday night, and had a Henna artist ink Lovato's iconic lion tattoo on her hand. Rowland documented the process on Instagram, proudly showing off the tattoo and writing, "....got you on my mind."

Lovato famously got the animal tattoo in 2017 as a symbol of strength ... it also happens to be her astrology sign.

The duo's friendship goes way back to their judging days on "X-Factor."

As The Blast reported, Lovato was rushed to the hospital early Tuesday morning for a medical emergency. Since then, we've learned the singer refused to reveal the drugs she had taken to responding paramedics, but a nurse at the hospital told police she was doing a type of methamphetamine leading up to her hospitalization.
