Demi Lovato Doing 'Very Well' and Leaning on 'Her Rock' Wilmer Valderrama

Demi Lovato is leaning on her good friend and ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama in the wake of her recent hospitalization, and he has been by her side since she arrived.

A well-placed source tells The Blast that Demi is doing "very well" today and "Wilmer is one of the only people who has been around her, besides her mom."

As we previously reported, Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital this week after people in her home called 911 and claimed she was suffering from an overdose. Her aunt later reported that the star was “awake and responsive” in the hospital a few hours after the incident.

We're told that after hearing the news, Wilmer rushed to Demi's side at the hospital.

Our source describes the two as having "a beautiful friendship" and tells us that Wilmer "has remained such a great support to her."

We're told the two have remained very close after dating. Also, we are told Wilmer headed to be by her side almost immediately after the event, and remains by her side.

Our sources say Demi and her family are grateful for the "That 70s Show" star. "These are the people that really care about her," our source says.

Demi and Wilmer dated for six years before calling things off in 2016 but they've remained best friends over the years. Back in 2015, Demi said in an interview that she "wouldn't be alive" without the support of Wilmer.
