Britney Spears Reportedly REJECTS Lucrative Instagram Deals

Even though pop star Britney Spears once referred to Instagram as her part-time job, it appears that she has no interest in promoting products on her page.
The 41-year-old pop star once known for her decades-long singing career is now known for the dancing videos that she records in her living room. Although it sounds like she is on the verge of making a comeback with the release of her new memoir, “The Woman In Me” and a possible new album, it looks like she is not interested in making more money on social media.
Britney Spears Turns Down Social Media Deals On Instagram Despite HUGE Payday!
It looks like the “Mind Your Business” singer is not interested in repping anyone’s brand but her own. Sources told TMZ on Monday morning that the pop star has been offered some big bucks for different social media deals, but she has turned them all down.
Several companies have reached out to Britney’s team to ask if she would promote their products online, but it looks like Briteny has turned them all down. The reason given was that Britney “wasn’t crazy about the companies” and unwilling to back something she didn’t wholeheartedly endorse.
In addition, the companies wanted more than just a simple post – they also wanted a photo shoot and a video of her pitching the product, which was something that the pop star was unwilling to do. Even though Britney has over 42 million followers on Instagram and could have made a lot of money doing so, it seems she’s just not interested at the moment.
Although Britney might not be willing to make a deal, there are plenty of celebrities looking to cast in. The outlet reported that “Iron Man” actress Gwyneth Paltrow recently made $100,000 for a single Instagram post, while “The Kardashians” reality star Kim Kardashian famously once made a million dollars for one Instagram post.
Britney Calls ‘Doing Instagram’ Her ‘Part Time Job’ In June
It might be surprising to some that Britney chooses not to rep any products on Instagram, since she called it her “part time job” in June 2023. At the time, she posted a black square on Instagram along with a quote that read: “I walk around like everything is fine, but deep down, inside my shoe, my sock is sliding off.”
In the caption, Britney wrote, “I know I said I quit the business but doing Instagram is almost like a part time job !!! I’m always busy !!! So I’m still here with my sock sliding deep inside my shoe !!!”
Britney Spears May Be Releasing Some New Music Soon!
On Wednesday, August 30, a source told Us Weekly that Britney is ready to start a “new chapter” following her divorce from actor Sam Asghari. The two met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and Sam popped the question in September 2021, only two months before her 13-year conservatorship was struck down by a judge in November 2021.
The two tied the knot in June 2022, but Sam filed for divorce on August 16, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, he listed July 28 as the date of separation, meaning that the two have been apart for over a month now.
Still, it looks like the “Toxic” singer is focusing on the release of her memoir “The Woman In Me” this October and even wants to out some new music with the release. “The songs will be about freeing herself from negativity and unhealthy people,” an insider told the outlet. “This is a new chapter for Britney in more ways than one.”
Another source ventured that Britney is interested in doing a “big sit-down interview” along with the release of her new memoir. However, another source told the outlet that “Her team will have to evaluate where she is at to see if she is ready for it.”
There seems to be concern that Britney will be able to “handle” the “pressure and attention” after trying to stay out of the spotlight over the past few years. Fortunately, it seems that she has the support of a lot of famous friends, including Madonna, who wants to see Britney back up on stage.
The Queen of Pop has reportedly invited the Princess of Pop to sing with her on stage for one of her stops in L.A. during her Celebration tour. “Britney’s grateful for the support she’s gotten from her friends in the biz — Madonna especially,” the source revealed. “She’d love to join her, but the question is whether or not she can handle that type of pressure and attention.”
