Charlamagne Tha God's DNA Was Not Found in Accuser's Rape Kit

The woman accusing Charlamagne Tha God of raping her at a party had no DNA evidence from the radio personality, according to a rape kit performed by officials.

The Blast has obtained documents from Charlamagne's now-dismissed assault case out of South Carolina. The court filings include a Forensic Services Laboratory Report after a rape kit was adminstered to then 15-year-old Jessica Reid shortly after she accused the "Breakfast Club" host of rape.

According to the documents, there was no evidence of any semen found inside Reid from an oral, vaginal and rectal swab. Material found underneath the girl's fingernails was also analyzed and determined to contain "Nothing of apparent serological evidentiary value."

As we reported, Charlamagne ended up pleading down to a lesser charge and the assault case was dismissed. Reid is trying to petition a higher court to reopen the criminal case, which has proven to be unsuccessful so far.

When the incident first occurred, Charlamagne actually went to the police and tried to clear his name, he also recommended to his cousins that they do the same thing.

The radio star has maintained from the beginning that he did not assault Reid, and touted the release of more information from the case following a torrent of demand from fans that questioned the circumstances surrounding the case.

The revelation found in the DNA analysis, plus the solicitor's refusal to reopen the case, may all but close the door on Reid's chance for another day in court.
