Disney fans have heard of theMonorail Bar Crawlat Walt Disney World, but now there is another bar crawl to add to your list!
Do you have what it takes to complete the Disney World Skyliner Bar Crawl? Here are our top drink recommendations at each spot.
Disney Skyliner Bar Crawl Route
Disney's Disney Skyliner transportation system takes Guests from select Resort hotels to one of the Disney theme parks. Guests can board Disney's Skyliner — a complementary mode of transportation — and glide past one-of-a-kind views of waterways, woodlands, and two Walt Disney World theme parks — Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
Each location along the Skyliner route has many amenities, including a bar -- so those over 21 can grab a drink at any of these spots without even getting behind the wheel.
I suggest the following route:
- Disney's Pop Century
- Disney's Art of Animation
- Disney's Hollywood Studios
- Disney's Caribbean Beach
- Disney's Riviera Resort
- EPCOT
- Disney's Yacht and Beach Club
- Disney's BoardWalk
Let's go on a Skyliner Bar Crawl!
Disney's Pop Century
Disney's Pop Century Resort is probably the best place to start, especially if you are already staying there. At this Disney World Resort, Guests can visit Petals Pool Bar.
During the summer months, the bar offers a drink called the Summer Heat, which is delicious. It is made of Tito's Vodka, Cold-pressed Watermelon Juice, Sour Mix, Lime Juice, and Fresh Muddled Jalapeños, topped with Sprite.
Disney's Art of Animation
Disney's Art of Animation is within walking distance from Disney's Pop Century. You will want to visit the drop-off pool bar and grab the Seafoam Refresher, made of coconut rum, blue Curaçao liqueur, and pineapple juice.
Disney's Hollywood Studios
If you want to venture into a Park, this is the time to do so. Hop on the Skyliner and head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios. There are many bars to choose from here, but my all-time favorite is Baseline Tap House. They offer beer flights with many beers on tap, some wine, and a handful of cocktails. They also have a full bar so that you can get any drink.
I also recommend grabbing a bite to eat here, as the pretzels are the best on Disney World property.
Disney's Caribbean Beach
It's time to hop back onto the Disney Skyliner and head to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. The pool bar here is Banana Cabana which offers various specialty cocktails.
I suggest getting the Tropical Island Iced Tea, made of vodka, dragonberry rum, gin, tequila, Cointreau liqueur, sweet and sour mix, and Coca-Cola.
Disney's Riviera Resort
Now, you can hop back on the Disney Skyliner to head over to Disney's Riviera Resort or take the short, scenic walk from Disney's Caribbean Beach to our next stop.
Bar Riva at Disney's Riviera Resort is the best place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. This open-air pool bar offers a wide variety of drinks and food options. I recommend the Mediterranean Wave, a frozen blend of Cîroc Vodka, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto Liqueur, Pineapple, Agave, and Bols Blue Curaçao.
I enjoy munching on the Baked Brie for food, but they also have sandwiches and salads to choose from.
EPCOT
The next and final stop on the Disney Skyliner is EPCOT, another Disney World theme park. Now, you don't have to go into EPCOT if you don't want to, but the Skyliner drops you off right outside of World Showcase, meaning it's just a short walk to the France pavilion, where you can get a frozen martini from the martini stand, or a glass of sparkling wine from Les Vins des Chefs de France.
Disney's Yacht and Beach Club
From EPCOT, or from where the Disney Skyliner drops you off, you can walk over to Disney's Yacht and Beach Club. Martha's Vineyard is located inside, allowing you to cool off from that hot Florida sun while taking in the New England-themed atmosphere.
Here, I recommend the Cold Brew Old Fashioned, which consists of chocolate rum, coffee liqueur, Joffrey's Cold Brew Coffee, pure cane syrup, and orange bitters.
Jellyrolls at Disney's Boardwalk
And last but certainly not least, end your evening at Jellyrolls, the piano bar located at Disney's Boardwalk. Here, you can enjoy various cocktails while enjoying live music from the dueling piano players.
