Last season on the “Bachelorette: After the Finale Rose” episode, “Bachelorette” lead Rachel Recchia announced that her final man, Tino Franco, cheated on her weeks after the two got engaged, which led to an awkward reunion live on stage.

Both individuals went their separate ways, and now, Recchia is getting ready to go to "Bachelor In Paradise". After it was announced that the 27-year-old would be returning to the franchise, her ex, Tino Franco, decided to speak out about where the two stand today.

Franco opened up about his current relationship, or lack thereof, with his ex, Rachel Recchia.

"I know deep in my heart that there is no future there, and I don't think we'll ever speak to each other again," Franco told "The Bachelor" alum Courtney Robertson during a recent episode of her "After Reality" podcast.

He then went on to explain how the two haven't really spoken since the awkward live finale. "I think, some odd year ago, she tried to call and I just was kind of like, 'I don't know if we'll ever get to the point where we have something to talk about, but this is way too soon for me,'" he admitted. "But personally, I don't think there's anything for us to talk about."

In regard to closure, Franco said he isn't that type of guy. "I'm not a big rehasher or 'I need more closure' person," he explained. "I'm like, 'I think I've seen every little bit of this situation -- and you, [Rachel] -- that I ever need to, so let's just be adults here, chalk it up for the loss it was, and walk away.'"

On the “After the Finale Rose" episode, after the world watched as Recchia and Franco broke it off following cheating allegations, Franco apologized to "The Bachelorette" lead.

“Rachel, I am so sorry,” Franco began. “My actions are on me and I own them completely. From the bottom of my heart I’m sorry for what I did. I’m sorry it took me so long to tell you, and I’m sorry that that meet-up came off like I was trying to put any responsibility of what I did on you.”

He went on to say how he wished “everyone really got to see the love story that we lived,” but ultimately brings up the ring again. “When we started letting our conversations get into ‘I can’t love you anymore,’ and you said you didn’t want to wear the ring…”

Rachel Recchia immediately interrupted, “Do you want to get into that? We were going through a really hard time and it’s deeply personal to both of us. And I think we both don’t want to air out why those things were happening, but we can. Do you want to talk about it?”

Ultimately, the two did not work anything out. Rachel Recchia is still single and will appear on the upcoming season of "Bachelor In Paradise".
