K-Fed Accuses Britney Spears of Treating the Court Like 'Coachella'

If there were any gloves being worn in the legal brawl between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, they just came flying off.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, lays into the "Oops ... I Did It Again" star by claiming she's using her status to skirt the procedural system of the court.

MVK says, "The California Superior Court is not the Coachella Music Festival, there are no front of the line VIP passes," adding that the court is interested in doing what's best for the children, and not for the "extraordinarily wealthy parents."

Federline's attorney says Spears has refused to provide any records, and stresses that they have received "NOT A SINGLE DOCUMENT." He also accuses the pop star of bailing on her deposition, and teases that the rules must be "different in the Rich and Famous edition of the California Family Code."

However, the judge was not convinced about any wrongdoing on Spears' part -- probably because the star's ace attorney, Laura Wasser, is one of the best in the business at navigating treacherous legal waters.

We're told Wasser successfully argued that Federline and his "overly broad" discovery requests are a form of harassment. She also claimed that while the two parents share equal custody, Spears has paid her baby daddy on time for years and she also pretty much funds the kids' activities and lifestyle anyways. The judge sided with Spears and shut K-Fed down by ordering a continuation in the hearing.

As we reported, Spears' father, Jamie, recently reached out to Federline to try and cut a deal in child support that would earn him an extra $10,000 per month, but his attorney is not allowing him to take it.

For now, the battle continues.
