According to reports, a woman who was struck by the flying object filed a police report on Wednesday evening following the concert. Law enforcement is now investigating 50 Cent for hurling the microphone at his crew in the production area, which resulted in it hitting the victim.

The woman informed the authorities that the "In da Club" hitmaker appeared to make direct eye contact with her before throwing the microphone. This suggests that, in her view, the 48-year-old was aware of her presence.

The victim was subsequently taken to the hospital due to a head laceration. The incident occurred due to 50's frustration during his Los Angeles concert, which was held at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday night as part of his "Final Lap" tour for 2023.

Throughout his performance, he apparently was provided with multiple non-functioning microphones, an evidently aggravating situation for the "Just A Lil Bit" hitmaker. In a video shared to TikTok, the television producer is seen making a bold entrance onto the stage, clutching a microphone while joining YG, who is in the midst of delivering a powerful song.

Suddenly, his focus shifted to one side of the stage, and in an outburst of emotion, he flung the microphone in that direction. Reacting to the incident, one viewer claimed, "And she bout to get paid," and another queried, "Y'all don't remember when 50 threw that first pitch?! He did it again here. ?."

"Why he throw it like that thou. exactly how a kid throws anything ????," a third person joked.

A fifth instructed 50, "Just give her a blank check why don't cha," while a sixth cautioned, "There's no excuse to throw a mic at the audience like that. He should have handed it back to the guy. Don't let your feelings overcome you. Control them."

Cardi B Similarly Threw A Mic At A Woman In The Audience

Amongst the comments was another that read, "He thought he was Cardi B ?," referring to Cardi's previous altercation with a concertgoer. In case you missed it, during a Saturday performance at a Las Vegas venue, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper found herself in an incident involving an overly enthusiastic fan earlier this month.

As reported by The Blast, the fan had tossed a drink towards the performer, retaining the glass and dousing her with its contents. Clearly taken aback, the mother-of-two quickly shook off the liquid and reacted by tapping the microphone toward the person responsible, potentially making contact.

A video of the incident circulated on X, capturing the moment when the rapper was hit by the liquid and ice and subsequently retaliated before security stepped in to escort the individual out of the venue. Dressed in a semi-sheer orange dress, Cardi remained on stage, adjusting her hair while displaying her displeasure.

From an alternative angle in the video, she can be seen shouting at the individual who threw the drink. This situation seemed to echo singer Adele's approach when she addressed her audience during her Las Vegas residency performance, where she candidly voiced her thoughts.

"Have you noticed how people are like forgetting f**king show etiquette at the moment and people are throwing s–t on stage? Have you seen that? I f**king dare you, I dare you to throw something at me, I'll f**king kill you," the "Easy on Me" singer ranted at the crowd.

The incident with Cardi is part of a series of similar occurrences that have unfolded among various artists over the course of the summer. Notably, Bebe Rexha experienced a phone hitting her face, resulting in the need for stitches.

Similarly, Ava Max encountered a situation where she was slapped by a concert attendee. On another note, Drake had a vape thrown in his direction, while Harry Styles appeared to receive an abundance of bouquets and bras from his fans.
