"Teen Mom" star MacKenzie McKee's mother is set to release a book about her battle with cancer and she will be using the money from the sales to pay off her medical bills relating to her battle with lung cancer.

Earlier this year, Angie Douthit was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer, which spread to her lungs. The book entitled, “God’s Plan,” will detail her following with the life-altering diagnosis and her road to recovery.

Sources close to the deal tell The Blast that Mackenzie’s mom will be using the majority of the money from the sale of the book to pay off the massive medical bills she has racked up since her cancer diagnosis.

We're told one of the main reasons Douthit wrote the book was to share her love of god with readers.

The deal was negotiated by manager Gina Rodriguez and the book was co-written with celebrity ghostwriter Ardre Orie. 13th & Joan Publishing will oversee the production of the book.

The book will be released on September 11, 2018 and is available for presale online.
