Dylan Mulvaney Wins Streamy Award: 'I’m Gonna Go Have A Beer'

And the Breakout Creator Streamy Award goes to...Dylan Mulvaney!

The popular TikTok creator and trans advocate was surprised and excited to win the coveted award during the 13th annual Streamy Awards Sunday night.

Mulvaney, 26, was shocked to win the award as a "musical theater gal."

"I'm really shocked because I thought the only award I'd ever win was maybe a Tony Award but now I'm a musical theater gal with a Streamy," she said as she accepted her award.

"532 days ago, I made a coming-out video that turned into my 'Days of Girlhood' series, and my life has been changed for the better. But on the flip side, there's also been an extreme amount of transphobia and hate, and I know that my community is feeling it."

As she concluded her speech, she made sure to throw in a reference to the recent Bud Light controversy by saying, "I'm gonna go have a beer and I love ya."

After receiving her award, she told PEOPLE, "This was best moment of my year so far."

"I feel like I just blacked out. That was the best moment of my year so far. I feel so, so happy," she told PEOPLE backstage. "It just means a lot to me, but I also think that the fact a trans person can win an award like this in such a scary time of transphobia - it makes me feel like there's hope."

Other nominees for the Breakout Creator award were Alix Earle, Keith Lee, Drew Afualo, and Jane Shane, also known as Octupusslover8.

Mulvaney has been sharing her life and "Days of Girlhood" series with her social media followers for more than a year now. With nearly 2 million followers on Instagram and almost 11 million on TikTok, she certainly has a large audience watching and supporting her throughout her journey.

While many of Mulvaney's social media posts get negative and transphobic comments, the positive comments outnumber the negative ones.

"Dylan you are literally an angel. Like your posts make me so happy and always brighten my day. Thank you for existing and living your truth," one person wrote on a recent Instagram photo Mulvaney shared.

"I just went thru and reported and blocked a bunch of nasty trolls. Then went back thru the comments and it is now a beautiful, encouraging love-fest. ❤️ Highly recommend!!" wrote another.

She recently shared a "catch up" video on TikTok about her vision board for the year.

"We're in August which means we're more than halfway done with year and if you remember correctly, I made a vision board for 2023," she said. "And I thought why don't we check in to see where I'm at with all the different things."

She went through her vision board and updated all her followers on how it's going. She explained how she kept up with the no texting vision, and how she dyed her hair blond and that she's so happy with it.

"Blocked. Oh, I'm blocking them left and right baby," she continued. "I really thought that I should keep my account open to like everyone so that they could potentially change their mind about me or trans people and now I'm like no, they're not gonna, at least not right now. And for my peace and for my followers' peace and everyone involved just best to block them."

One thing many followers wanted to hear an update about was if she was kissed yet.

"Been kissed?" she said, "Maybe."

Fans made mention of that part of her vision board update.

" Been kissed!?!?!? Yay!!!!!" one follower wrote. Another added, "Waaaaaiiiit!!! Being kissed was such a huge goal!!! I don’t want to know, I just hope if it happened, it was fabulous!"

Another person wanted more information on that kiss, "We need the kiss tea!! ?"
