In a twist on the latest Sister Wives episode, the 54-year-old presented an unexpected proposition to his former spouse. Sunday's episode delved into the former couple's lunch meeting, where they hashed out post-split holiday arrangements and the future of their youngest, Truely. 

Tensions escalated as Kody did not shy away from expressing his animosity toward the 51-year-old. However, amidst the strain, he made an unexpected suggestion for improving their relationship. The reality TV star started by saying:

"I thought about doing breakup counseling with you, like, 'Hey, we're done. Let's get in a place where we can be functional.'"

The mother-of-six interrupted, skeptical of his proposal, but he remained resolute, stressing, "Well, maybe all I need is grief counseling." Kody emphasized that his primary concern was overcoming his hatred towards Christine to avoid speaking negatively about her to their children. 

While post-breakup counseling initially seemed unconventional, the "WGN Morning News" guest star was open to trying it out. She expressed her willingness, saying, "If you need to have some sort of, like, post-breakup counseling with me, that's fine. The whole thing is very heartbreaking, and it's very sad."

He reiterated that counseling was a way to resolve their issues and move forward positively, to which Christine agreed. She also acknowledged that it was the best step, seeing as they would be connected due to their children and shared history.

Expressing her hopes, the author mentioned her desire to "eventually" become friends with the father of her children. However, she still questioned whether this notion was too optimistic. Building on this, Kody decided to proceed, and they both agreed to reconnect when she returned with Truely.

In a confessional, Christine shared that her ex-husband had been suggesting counseling and therapy for years," but she felt they were never "going to do it." In a solo interview, Kody expressed his thoughts: "I feel like, yeah, I need to figure out how to forgive her. That would be a good idea. But am I ever going to trust her? Probably not." He also expressed his inability to find enjoyment in his estranged spouse's company.

After leaving her husband of over two decades, the TV personality disclosed via social media that she was in a new relationship, remaining tight-lipped about her partner's identity. Her fresh romance came just over a year after her separation from her former husband. After a 27-year marriage, they called it quits in November 2021, attributing their split to "years of marriage problems." 

When she announced their separation, she also noted their plan to remain active in each other's lives as devoted parents. On the other hand, Kody acknowledged the strain on their union and mentioned a shift towards co-parenting in the future.

By February, it was revealed that the "Sister Wives" star's new beau is a 59-year-old construction executive. A source confirmed to U.S. Sun that she was dating David Woolley, and their relationship was progressing quickly, with the couple having crossed the significant milestone of him meeting her daughter, Truely.

As reported by the outlet, Christine's boyfriend is an independent construction professional and the owner of David Woolley Drywall. He recently established a public Instagram account, which counts her as one of its followers.

Describing the connection between her partner and daughter, she remarked on its incredible nature, referring to it as "a dream come true."

A hint in one of her Instagram pictures, featuring ATVs in the background, led fans to speculate that she might have been with him when the photo was taken. This line of thought gained traction because he shared an ATV image on his Instagram.
