On Saturday, August 26, Britney took to Instagram to share a throwback photo shoot that she credited to photographer Herb Ritts. Although she is smiling in the caption, she is clearly not happy with the things being said about her in the media.
“Before documentaries like TMZ existed … it wasn’t acceptable for the press to make shows on innocent people to spread false information and ruin reputations 😒😒😒 !!!” she wrote in the caption. “Back when Hollywood had value and respect !!!”

Earlier in the day, she shared a photo of her flaunting her toned abs in a black crop top and floral pink skirt. She also credited this photo to Herb Ritts.
In the caption, she wrote, “NEXT B*TCH 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ ???” Although it was not clear what she was referring to at the time, it appears that Britney is frustrated with the headlines and can’t wait to see what will be written about her “next.”
Is Britney Referring To Reports That She Needed To Get Stitches Following An ‘Explosive’ Fight With Sam Asghari?
On Thursday, August 24, a new TV special called “Britney Spears: Divorce & Despair” aired on Fox. This new TV special featured allegations that Sam had actually hurt Britney during an “explosive” fight, which required the singer to get medical attention.
As Page Six reported, during the special, TMZ founder Harvey Levin claimed that the former couple had a huge fight in London which led to her needing stitches. "She and Sam were going at it in a hotel room, and it got so bad [that] she tripped and hit the coffee table, cracking her head open,” Levin alleged, adding, “She needed stitches.”
That being said, the outlet has also reported that Britney’s “erratic” behavior was a source of concern. In a recent "TMZ Investigates" episode, executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere claimed the pop star’s "volatility" became too much for Sam "to take.”
Britney Reportedly Hired A Medical Professional To Tend To Her Care
On Saturday morning, TMZ reported that Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, and manager, Cade Hudson, had helped her hire two new staff members for her Thousand Oaks estate. One individual is reportedly a medical professional who has experience working in the medical field. This person will reportedly help Britney manage her medication.
The pop star's medication use made headlines earlier this week when a source told The Sun that Britney and Sam had argued over her medication use. “Britney is not a well person without the correct medication,” the source said. “No matter what she told her conservatorship judge or assures fans, she needs stability through a very regimented program of meds.”
"After she was released from the conservatorship, she attempted to move away from being reliant on medication,” the source continued. “However, in the last year that has caused many issues with her behavior becoming erratic, violent, and even dangerous.”
"Sam urged her to seek more therapy and even find a psychotherapist, not from her past, who could help unpack her issues and stabilize her thoughts. He also has really pushed for her to return to a medication regime to overcome her anxiety and mood swings," the insider added, noting that Britney had refused to get treatment at the time.
“Britney’s experience under the conservatorship has made her fearful and nervous about medication,” the insider added. “When Sam pushed her on this it would lead to arguments.”
Although it's not clear what medication Britney is on right now, fans just want the pop star to be happy and healthy.
