Bethenny Frankel's Late Boyfriend's Trump Tower Apartment Still for Sale

The high-rise luxury apartment where "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel's boyfriend died is staying on the market, and the realtor is optimistic about unloading it despite the recent death.

Dennis Shields' apartment on the 42nd floor of Trump Tower is still for sale at the price of $4,750,000. He originally bought it for $3.3 million in 2012, it's been on the market at the current price for over a year.

Realtor Boaz Maschiach tells The Blast the 2-bed, 2.5-bath apartment will remain on the market, and says the recently renovated the 1,600 sq. ft. property is quite impressive.

It features floor to ceiling windows, views of the skyline and river, 24-hour doorman and concierge, state-of-the-art fitness center, valet and a maid service.

We're told unfortunately for prospective buyers, nobody is allowed inside to see the apartment until Boaz gets permission from Shields' family, which he expects to come at the conclusion of the death investigation. He has not yet been inside the property himself since Shields' death.

Boaz would not comment on anyone that may currently be interested in the property, or the process of informing would-be buyers of Shields' untimely passing. However, it is common practice in the real estate world to inform new tenants of a recent death.

Shields was 51-years-old when he was pronounced dead at his home last week from an apparent overdose. Frankel was visibly upset when she attended his funeral Monday on Long Island.
