"Real Housewives of Dallas" star D'Andra Simmons already knows what it takes to produce compelling reality TV, and thinks if Bethenny Frankel is comfortable with it, they should cover Dennis Shields' death on the show.

Simmons was in NYC when she spoke on the tragic death of Frankel's boyfriend. As far as using Shields' death on the "Real Housewives of New York," she stresses that the housewives are all about keeping it real, as long as the person is comfortable with their story being shared.

She admits that on "RHOD," Simmons deals with her father's suicide, because she's an open book, but understands that other housewives may not feel the same way. She then flat out admits that drama is what the audience wants, so give it to 'em!

Simmons also has some advice for others with a dream of becoming a Bravo "Housewife":

  1. Clean out the skeletons in your closet

  2. Get a thick skin

  3. Have a real purpose to be on the show!
