Sarah Ferguson is stirring up fond memories from her fairytale wedding to her ex-husband Prince Andrew, whom she was married to for a decade.

Fergie tied the knot with the duke in 1986, and their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, before their divorce in 1996.

Although the former couple were married for only a decade, they had the most magical wedding ceremony, which the British author recently recalled, emphasizing her "Cinderella" moment.

Sarah Ferguson Details 'Cinderella' Wedding To Prince Andrew In New Podcast Episode

In the latest episode of Sarah's "Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah" podcast, she went back in time with unforgettable moments from her wedding to Prince Andrew.  The TV personality recounted, "In 1986, the nation stopped and took a holiday on July 23 for the farmer's daughter going up the aisle with an extraordinary tiara given by Her Majesty. It's an extraordinary story of Cinderella."

She continued, "I wasn't exactly milking the cows on the farm; it was a very lovely life I had, but my father still farmed." Fergie went on to convey the thrill she felt on the special day upon seeing her "handsome prince."

The duchess sweetly recalled, "Up I went, up Westminster Abbey, and there at the end was the handsome prince with his full naval uniform on, and the nation stopped. Westminster Abbey was just abuzz with belief."

The "Finding Sarah" star admitted to her co-host, Sarah Thomson, that she was nervous at the time, "like every bride" but had no explanation. However, she recalled going down the stairs from Clarence House, where she spent the previous night, and everyone was chanting her name, "'Fergie! Fergie!" on the streets.

Upon getting to the bottom of the stairs, her father, Ronald Ferguson, the longtime polo manager for the late Prince Philip and King Charles before his passing, was there to meet her, and they both went to the abbey.

Summoning up more lovely memories from her wedding day, Sarah said, "It was one of those moments – I was watching 'Cinderella' with the girls the other day, 'Ella Enchanted.' I did that! I had that moment, and Dad was at the bottom."

She also recalled getting into their glass coach with her father and not knowing what to do next. Nevertheless, they went into the abbey and got on with it.  "The Young Victoria" producer remembered the moment fondly, adding, "I was totally in love with my handsome prince, so there you have it."

Fergie has been separated from her "handsome prince" for nearly three decades, but they have an amicable relationship and reside together at their Royal Lodge home.

They were almost kicked out of the property months ago by Prince Andrew's older brother, King Charles as part of the plans for the reign. However, sources claimed the couple was saved thanks to the 63-year-old podcaster's recovery from a nearly eight-hour mastectomy after her cancer diagnosis.

The lavish residence near Windsor Castle, outside London, houses 30 rooms and has been the ex-partners' home since 2003, when Prince Andrew signed a 74-year lease. The lease implied the duo had many more years on the property.

Despite this, the monarch tried to move them to Frogmore Cottage to cut costs since his younger brother could not afford the combined rent and upkeep of the home. Fans would recall that Prince Andrew lost his official duties due to his relationship with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and reportedly became broke after paying millions to Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual assault.

The 'Storytime With Fergie And Friends' Star Shared How Much She Loves Her Grandmotherly Duties

Fergie's look back at her fairytale wedding comes after she opened up about her life as a grandmother. As a grandma to three adorable tots, the royal takes pride in her role and once gushed about looking after one of her grandkids, Sienna.

Sienna, nicknamed Sisi, is the only child of her eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, and husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

On a Wednesday, August 9 episode of her podcast, she spoke about her duties, revealing that she takes charge whenever her daughter is away with her spouse. The doting grandmama described those moments with Sienna as "amusing," adding that the toddler loved to play with her "every minute of the day."
