Tory Lanez' Baby Mama Suffers 'Significant And Severe Bodily Injury' In Car Accident

Tory Lanez’s family is taking another hit after it was reported that the mother of his son was in a pretty bad car accident.

The mother of Tory’s son Kai was involved in a horrific car accident and is claiming to be seriously injured. While she survived, she is in bad shape and has chosen to sue the driver of the other car involved.

Chassagne was last seen at Tory’s trial supporting her baby daddy and hoping that 10 years wouldn’t be his fate. Unfortunately, it is, and now, this. According to the court docs obtained by Radar Online, she is suing Angelo Perry Thrower.

She is also suing Geico General Insurance Company and Vera-Williamson Investments aka Vera Buick GMC. The accident took place in December 2022, she was in the car that was hit by Angelo’s car while out and about in Florida, more specifically, the Pembroke Pines area.

Raina alleges that Angelo “had a duty to operate and/or maintain the motor vehicle he was driving in a safe and reasonable manner to keep control of the vehicle so that the vehicle would not collide with any other vehicles or pedestrians.”

The legal docs refer to him as “careless” and allege he “negligently operated and/or maintained the aforementioned motor vehicle so as to cause it to collide with the motor vehicle in which Plaintiff was a passenger.”

The car accident was so severe that Chassagne is claiming the accident caused significant and severe bodily injury that is permanent. She is also alleging disability, disfigurement, physical impairment, inconvenience, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, hospital expenses loss of earnings, and loss of ability to earn money in the future.

Geico is not here for the accusations. They are denying any wrongdoing and allege that Raina was not wearing her seatbelt at the time. “The plaintiff had available for use a fully operational seatbelt which, had it been properly utilized, would have substantially reduced or prevented the damages claimed by Plaintiff.”

They claim that her choice to not use the safety belt is what impacted her. “Plaintiff’s failure to properly use the seatbelt was negligent and the damages claimed should be reduced in proportion to Plaintiff’s negligence.”

That being said, the police report points the finger at Angelo as the at-fault party. He ran a red light and as a result, the accident occurred and both cars were towed.

This is the last thing that Chassagne needs, it was just a few weeks ago that her baby daddy was sentenced to 10 years on weapons charges and shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet. She is really a single mom now because there is only so much that Tory can do from behind bars.

Being involved in a car accident where she is claiming disfigurement is a dramatic scenario is one more thing to add to the plate.
