Sarah Jessica Parker Shuts Down a 14-Year-Old for Filming Her at Shoe Event

Sarah Jessica Parker put a quick end to a 14-year-old fan who was filming her during a shoe event in Las Vegas and that fan actually has a connection to Mama June.

Tonia Ryan — who worked as Mama June's stylist and was even featured on her WE tv show, "Mama June: From Not to Hot" — lives in Las Vegas and went to an SJP appearance on Thursday at the "Sex and the City" star's store inside the Bellagio Hotel, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker.

Tonia was there with her 14-year-old son, Derek. She tells The Blast she wanted Derek to film her as she went up to ask Sarah to help her choose between two pairs of shoes to buy. In the video, Derek is filming SJP as Tonia was waiting patiently just off-camera to ask her question.

But SJP got a glimpse of Derek out of the corner of her eye and immediately put a stop to the filming. She can be heard saying, "Put your phone down ... You guys have to have experiences, nobody's living, everybody is just walking around."

Sarah then introduced herself to Derek before asking him to turn off the camera.

Tonia tells The Blast that SJP then made her son delete the video but they were able to recover it from the trash. She says there were no signs prohibiting photos or videos anywhere in the store. Tonia says she just thought it would be cool to have a video asking SJP about which pair to buy and thought it was harmless.

After she went up to Derek, Tonia says Sarah kept bothering him about deleting it and questioning whether he did. Sarah then told her that it is a big deal and nobody gets a photo with her until they buy a pair of shoes.

Tonia then decided to buy two pairs of shoes and then after the purchases, she and Derek went to take the photos with Sarah, who then became overly nice to her and Derek.

Tonia tells The Blast, “I was in complete shock that she told my son to stop recording her when everyone else was recording video all over the store. My first instinct was to tell her, 'Don't tell my son what to do,' but I was so stunned."

She adds, "What was the most shocking was when she insisted that my son delete the video from his phone. She kept saying, 'When are you going to delete it? Delete that video now.' So he did, but I don’t think that she realized that in your iPhone there’s a deleted video file that still holds all the videos. It was all so strange."
