'Temptation Island' Single Alexius Shares 'Truth About My Pregnancy'

While the "Temptation Island" reunion had lots of moments of shock, one that really took viewers by surprise was finding out about Alexius' pregnancy.

During the reunion, Alexius and Chris gave very little detail about the pregnancy and it left viewers wondering what happened, so Alexius shared a YouTube video clearing things up.

Alexius and Chris didn't go into detail about their pregnancy on the reunion leaving viewers who were invested in the season hanging. Alexius wanted to share her story and created a YouTube video to help answer any questions.

She titled the video, "Truth About My Pregnancy," and in the beginning of the video she clearly states that it's about her story, not anything to do with filming. She also directed fans to another video she shared on YouTube about her relationship with Chris while on the island, which could clear up some timeline questions people may have.

"To clear some things up, I know a couple of you guys are confused if I had a miscarriage, did I have an abortion, what happened? When were you pregnant?" she said. "I haven't really said any of these things out loud. So, there's a lot of reasons why I decided to get an abortion. But the main one was, you know, when you have a kid with someone, that's a lifetime commitment. We all know, this was an unplanned pregnancy. Everything was happening so fast."

She continued to explain that neither her or her partner were emotionally, mentally or financially prepared to become parents.

"Because my family doesn't really support the idea of an abortion, it was a lot on me, but I knew that this is my life, and I'm in charge of it and this is what was best," she continued. "I wasn't working. I recently had my car repo'd. I was about to move across the country with a man who's already cheated on me. Honestly making this video is making me really sick to my stomach."

"My abortion wasn't just your typical abortion. I live in Texas, it's literally against the law to have an abortion. I had to look at my sources and if you do any research, you know you're on a time limit. Different states have different laws," she continued. "Finding the resources in a state that doesn't offer the procedure was really difficult."

She said that she flew out to Los Angeles to have her abortion. She also had some second thoughts as she traveled to California. She said that while her mom wasn't supportive, her dad was really there for her during this tough time. He told her if it didn't feel right, they would figure it out and make it work.

"As soon as I went back into the doctor's office, there was a nurse that was gonna come in and do my sonogram or whatever. While I was waiting for her to come in, the 'How To Love' music video, if you've seen it, by L'il Wayne, like that was just playing in my head and it was making me so emotionally f***ed," she said.

"So she comes in and she does the sonogram or whatever and they can't tell you anything. Their job is to just take pictures and scan and basically get an accurate reading of how many weeks you are so they know how and what procedure to recommend."

The doctor then comes into the room and asks if she wanted to see the sonogram photos. Alexius said no because she loves kids and all she ever wanted was a family. She then got emotional talking about such a tough time.

The doctor told her that while she understands that she doesn't want to see the ultrasound pictures, she had news that might make her feel better.

"The doctor said, 'I think this might make you feel better' and I was confused," she said. "And she said, actually, your baby stopped growing at 5 weeks and you were gonna miscarry any day now."

At that time, Alexius thought she was about 8 weeks pregnant. She explained that while it was her choice to have an abortion, at the end of the day, it really wasn't her choice.

"I shifted my mindset and looked at it as a health perspective because the doctor said you know what, it's actually a good thing you came here because now you can get the correct medical treatment," she said. "If you were in Texas and had a miscarriage or you did something and you needed to go to the ER, they can't give you the correct treatment because it's against the law now and you would have to naturally just miscarry on your own."

Alexius said she learned a lot and the situation humbled her. She shared some advice: use protection and know who you're hooking up with.

"You never know. This could be a potential partner that you have to deal with for the rest of your life. Do you really know this person well enough to have a kid," she explained. "I never really thought of those things when I would hook up with people before and it's just really important now for me."

While Alexius hasn't shared much about the topic on Instagram for her followers, she did recently share a few Instagram Stories directing fans to her YouTube video explaining that it's the "most vulnerable video" she will ever share on the internet.
