Harvey Weinstein's Former Home Serves as Circus-Themed Wedding Venue for Son of Ex-TWC Board Member

One of the former board members of The Weinstein Company probably got a good deal on his son's wedding venue — not that he needed it — because the property used to belong to his longtime neighbor and business partner, Harvey Weinstein.
Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry's son, Zach, was married Saturday at the former Westport, Connecticut home of Harvey Weinstein. Marc is a billionaire hedge fund manager and was once on the board of TWC with Weinstein. He spoke with CNBC shortly after the scandal broke, saying, "As soon as I found out, which was a couple days before everybody else, we had a board call," adding, "I then resigned the following day."
Lasry is also named as a defendant in the ongoing class-action lawsuit against Weinstein and TWC.

Drowning in legal fees, Weinstein sold off his oceanfront property earlier this year, and according to Variety, it was bought by another rich neighbor on the block for $16 million.
Lasry also appears to own property nearby, but enlisted the disgraced mega-producer's former digs to set up a glamping style reception for Zach and his bride, Arianna Lyons, with a crazy circus theme, including everything from circus performers to a giant stuffed lion. The wedding invite instructed guests to dress in all white.
The Lasry family has some pretty strong political ties too. Chelsea Clinton worked as an associated at Marc's Avenue Capital investment group and both Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton attended the wedding of Marc's other son in 2017. Tiffany Trump was also a guest.
It does not appear that Weinstein was a guest during Zach's wedding, or if Marc finally got back that wrench he loaned Harvey years ago.
