'Euphoria' Star Zendaya Bares It All In Steamy Lingerie Photo Shoot

The intimate photoshoot, which featured Zendaya in lingerie and various poses for the latest issue of Elle Magazine, was as much an exploration of self-expression as it was a celebration of body positivity.

In one of the photos, the "Euphoria" star wore a red bikini that fully accentuated her curves and flashed her toned, long legs.

In her interview with the news outlet, she recounted the tales of her worst fashion look when all she had was her stylist, Law Roach.

"I'm angry at him to this day," she joked. "Like, why would you put me in this? B*tch, you could've done better!"

Zendaya has always been open about her journey of self-discovery in the entertainment industry. Her latest project, the raunchy drama "Challengers," sees her stepping into a decidedly more mature and daring role. 

In her interview accompanying the racy photoshoot with Elle, Zendaya delved into her latest cinematic venture, which generated quite the buzz for depicting her having a threesome with her love interests. In the movie, she plays budding tennis star Tashi Duncan, who is caught in a love triangle with fellow players and best friends Patrick and Art, played by Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist.

"From a character perspective, I want to find things that will push me," she told the publication. "As I get older, you know, I can't play a teenager for the rest of my life. I felt like it was a good step into a more, I guess you could say, 'grown-up' role and into that next phase."

She went on, "It was a little bit scary to take on, which I think is a good feeling. To be like, 'Ooh, can I do this?' You could run from that feeling and stay safe and comfortable, or you can go, 'You know what, f**k it.'"

Zendaya also delved into her transformative experience while preparing for her role in the movie. The star opened up about her newfound respect for athletes after an intense three-month training regimen for the part.

She noted that while she didn't understand her character's motivation, she enjoyed playing the role, which she termed "unapologetic."

"I still don't understand the decisions she makes, and we had so many conversations about the psychology of her and why she is that way," she shared. "What was important to me was that she was unapologetic about it. 

Zendaya continued, "Sometimes characters who are messy and conflicted and wield power over other people are reserved for [actors] who don't look like me, so when I get an opportunity to play a character like that, I'ma take it!"

Zendaya and Tom Holland have successfully maintained privacy around their relationship. While speculations about their romance have circulated for years, the duo has kept their personal lives out of the spotlight. 

Now, Zendaya has finally shed light on the real reason behind her decision to keep their relationship private.

In her interview with Elle, the actress opened up about the factors that have led her and Holland to maintain a low profile regarding their romantic involvement. 

According to Zendaya, their desire for an authentic connection untainted by the scrutiny of public opinion has been the driving force behind their decision.

She explained, "Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public. I can't not be a person, live my life, and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share."

She added, "It's about protecting the peace and letting things be your own, but also not being afraid to exist. You can't hide. That's not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now."
