A-List Stars Flocking To A Secret Desert Oasis, Bab Al Shams Resort

A new hotspot has emerged in the Middle East and Hollywood's elite is using it as a secret oasis away from the grind of the Entertainment business.
The iconic Bab Al Shams Desert Resortis nestled in the dunes on the outskirts of Dubai and opened its doors in February of 2023. As we've reported, Hollywood's heavy hitters are flocking to the overseas area which is being dubbed the "next Hollywood."
The resort blends seamlessly into the surroundings with 115 lavish rooms and suites housed in 16 two-story buildings. Of course, you can relax with the standard 5-star amenities one would expect from a top-tier resort, but you can also take part in activities native to the area like camel rides!
Several A-list stars have popped up in the area including Beyonce, Justin Bieber, and JLo, and guests of the resort are able to take part in "theatrical dining, holistic wellness treatments and therapies, and nomadic desert adventures."
"The reimagined Bab Al Shams is a legacy project that we are proud and passionate to present,” Gilles Soheir told The Blast, General Manager of Bab Al Shams. Adding, "The team and I are thrilled to bring forward the essence and stories of this sanctuary to bring an authentic Bedouin experience alight."
Many of the famous guests chose the ‘Mystique of Arabia’ package, offering a journey of authentic experiences like a guided nature walk among the desert dunes to camel rides and discovering the ancient sports of falconry and archery.
As for the food, let's be honest everyone cares about the food, including a restaurant called Zala, meaning ‘canopy’, which resembles a "contemporary Ottoman and Greek-inspired eatery with theatrical kitchens and a vibrant ambiance." The resort is also home to Ya Hala, a hideaway cigar and speakeasy-style lounge.
The biggest stars require a different level of entertainment, so this resort even offers the resort offers a sunrise floating experience over the desert with breakfast "in a private hot-air balloon." Now, that's VIP status!
As we've reported, many of the biggest celebrities are flocking to this part of the world for real estate opportunities and lavish getaways. Beyoncé even performed a private concert in the area open the Atlantis The Royal Hotel on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. She was reportedly paid $24 MILLION to perform and host the event.
