The Spanish Women’s Soccer Team is celebrating their big winwith some time in bikinis on a boat. Sounds like a good idea.
SWST Is Relaxing
It was just a few days ago that the team was standing shoulder to shoulder accepting their win and arriving home to adoring fans happy that the FIFA World Cup was their title to hold for a little while.
One would say that the women deserved a lot of rest and relaxation after their win. Headed by Coach Jorge Vilda the team won 1-0 over England in Sydney, Australia. Vilda couldn’t resist hugging his assistant coach's a woman and two men.
While he is now being criticized for his hand accidentally grazing the chest of the female assistant coach, he is busy basking in the glory of the win and not allowing anyone looking for drama to ruin this amazing moment for him.
SWST Hitting the Seas
The hot bodies spotted on the boat embracing the big win include Alexia Putellas, Jennifer Hermoso, Olga Carmona, Misa Rodriguez, possibly Irene Guerrero, and a bunch more who couldn’t be made out.
Party mode is in full swing after months of a strict diet, a touch workout regime, and likely anxiety and an overabundance of adrenaline every time they hit the field. The ladies are finally getting to let loose and have a little bit of fun with one another instead of the go, go, go of work mode.
The women enjoy sunbathing, jumping off the side of the boat, and the opportunity to take so many timeline-worthy selfies!
Fans Are Rejoicing
The win has brought joy to the fans who have hung in there for years with the team just hoping for a win or a top three at least. This is Spian’s first victory in the Women’s World Cup. Some people are already claiming that it will bring big changes.
“The perception of women’s soccer has changed,” said Dolors Ribalta Alcalde, a specialist in women’s sports at a University in Barcelona. “It is now seen as a real and exciting opportunity for girls. This World Cup, with its high profile, will have an impact on how people view women’s soccer. It will help make a big step forward.”
The women clearly feel like they have been more than successful with their victory. After the win, it was clear how close and bonded they felt when their team was called. From a dirty field covered in sweat to crystal blue waters, and jumping off of a boat, that’s well deserved.
