The First Clip Of A 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)' Song Is Here!

(Most) of the old versions of Taylor Swift songs are now dead!
The process continues with the revelation of a clip from a song off of "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" on social media, only weeks after the "Daylight" singer announced "1989 (Taylor's Version)" live in concert, and nearly two months since the release of "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)."
The "Reputation" era is now one step closer to becoming reality! The album was initially released only six years ago and was the last LP Swift toured behind before her current record-breaking concert tour.

Swift channeled her feelings regarding her feud with Kanye' Ye' West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian into "Reputation" and also gave fans early glimpses into her (former) relationship with Joe Alwyn in "Reputation." Still, there was also an underrepresented influence within its tracks: "Game Of Thrones!"
Swift talked 'GOT' in an interview with Entertainment Weekly in 2019 and dished on the details.
"So much of my imagination was spent on 'Game Of Thrones,' she told the outlet per Billboard. "At the time, I was making 'Reputation,' and I didn't talk about it in interviews, so I didn't reveal that the show influenced many of the songs."
She continued, "These songs were half based on what I was going through, but seeing them through a 'Game Of Thrones' filter."
The LP's first single, "Look What You Made Me Do," reportedly reflects "Anya Stark's kill list," Swift also revealed.

The 'Taylor's Version' of "Reputation" unofficially continues with the revelation of "Look What You Made Me Do!"

It wouldn't be the first time Swifties were able to hear a 'Taylor's Version' snippet in a trailer for an Amazon Prime show: "This Love (Taylor's Version)" was featured in a trailer for "The Summer I Turned Pretty" last year! (per The Blast).
The 'Taylor's Version' of "Delicate" was also recently featured in a scene from the series' latest season!
Swifties were beside themselves on social media: many took to X to post about the news, making the song a trending topic.

"I WAKE UP, AND THERE IS A CLIP FROM LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO TV?! OH MY GOD," a Swiftie celebrated!
"It's the fact that look what you made me do. Tv sounds so similar to the OG. I feel safer knowing it's not going to get changed the same way I speak now, and Red kinda did," another weighed in.
"It sounds better! I love how her inflection changed to seemingly show the passing of time. OG feels like 'look what you made me do' in the present, but this one is like looking back at what she did and what they made her do then. ICONIC: Oh, I love it so much," another wrote.
"WHERE IS THE ANGER??? She sounds tired of saying, look what you made me do," a fan shared.

"On August 23, 2017, Taylor announced the first Reputation single, Look What You Made Me Do. On August 23, 2023, we heard the first official snippet of Look What You Made Me Do (TV). DON'T EVEN TRY TO CONVINCE ME THAT TAYLOR ISN'T A MASTERMIND," a fan exclaimed!

"Sorry, but this sounds badly produced, and Taylor hasn't listened. Look what you made me do cause it all sounds different. I'm so scared for rep TV," a Swiftie said.
"I see some people complaining on Look What You Made Me Do TV that it sounds different than the stolen version, but for me, it sounds purer and cleaner than ever. I like it, and I'm excited about it," another fan shared.
One of Swift's duet partners on the album's second track, "End Game," Ed Sheeran, recently revealed the team has not started recording vocals for the 'Taylor's Version' of the way. (via The Blast)
