Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event at Walt Disney World that allows guests to experience Halloween without the scares. During the event, guests can watch a special fireworks show, meet Disney characters in their Halloween costumes, see a one-of-a-kind parade, and more.

The Halloween party kicked off on August 11 and has been extremely popular ever since. In fact, the party has sold out even more dates leading into late September.

Magic Kingdom's Halloween Party is one of the most popular events at Walt Disney World, and it shows as every single night through September 17 is now completely sold out. 

The following party dates for 2023 that are completely sold out are as follows:

  • August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
  • September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 22
  • October: 31

The current available party dates for 2023 are as follows:

  • September: 19, 24, 26, 28, 29
  • October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
  • November: 1

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event that takes place at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World after the Park closes.

During the party, Guests can experience the "fright" of Halloween, but without the scares. During the event, guests can watch a special fireworks show, meet Disney characters in their Halloween costumes, see a one-of-a-kind parade, and more. Guests can also go trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom!

  • Set your sights on the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular! Watch three sinister sisters bewitch and bedazzle the residents of Magic Kingdom Park.
  • Witness Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular—a wickedly wild fireworks display featuring some of your favorite Disney Characters hosted by Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
  • Boogie down at the Disney Junior Jam at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café—featuring some favorite friends from Disney Junior shows. It’s perfect for young partygoers!
  • See some beloved Disney Characters during Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade.
  • Collect a bag of candy as you roam the trick-or-treat trails searching for some of your favorite sweets.
  • Revel in the extraordinarily enchanting atmosphere of Magic Kingdom Park during this limited-capacity event.
  • This event is “not-so-scary,”—so children of all ages can join in the fun!

During the party, select Magic Kingdom rides and attractions will be open for guests to enjoy with limited crowds. Disney recently announced, “Also during the party, you may have the opportunity to experience some of your favorite attractions, including Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the newly opened TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. TRON Lightcycle / Run will use a virtual queue* during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, allowing guests to enjoy all the festivities while they wait to enter the Grid. But the fireworks show, “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular”, is one of the mmost popular aspects of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Disney describes the show as, “Jack-o-lanterns aren’t the only ‘Jack’ at Walt Disney World this Halloween! The Pumpkin King, a.k.a. Jack Skellington, will once again host the must-see nighttime spectacular, “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.” Featuring projections, special effects and lighting paired with fireworks, music and iconic Disney characters, you won’t want to miss this!”
