Speaking on her experience with Weinstein, Aniston said she was never keen on spending time with him and once ensured another person stayed with her in her trailer when he was around.

She stated, "He's not a guy, you're like, 'God, I can't wait to hang out with Harvey.' Never. You were actually like, 'Oh, God, OK, suck it up.'"

"I remember actually, he came to visit me on a movie to pitch me a movie. And I do remember consciously having a person stay in my trailer," Aniston added.

Weinstein has since responded to the actress' comments via his rep, saying he had an "excellent professional relationship" with Aniston.

One comment read, "The Jesus post was disappointing, Jamie. Did the likes of Kanye, Ice Cube, and Louis Farrakhan get to you? And what's with @jenniferaniston jumping on the bandwagon?? You guys don't think there's enough hatred in the world that you need to fuel the fire? Shame on both of you and all the others who joined in."

Responding to the backlash, Aniston wrote on her Instagram stories, "This really makes me sick. I did not 'like' this post on purpose or by accident."

She continued, "And more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt by this showing up in their feeds — I do NOT support any form of antisemitism. And I truly don't tolerate HATE of any kind. Period"
