Britney Spears’ Brother Bryan Reportedly Stepping In To 'Help' Amid Divorce

Pop star Britney Spears is apparently getting some help around the house after she and actor Sam Asghari called it quits on their relationship.

The two started dating on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video in 2016 and tied the knot in June 2022, months after she was freed of her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021. Although there are conflicting reports as to where Britney stands with her mother, Lynne Spears, and sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, it looks like she is starting to patch things up with her brother, Bryan Spears.

Even though there are conflicting reports as to where Britney stands with her mom and sister, it appears that she has been letting her brother come over to her Thousand Oaks estate in order to help her through her divorce from Sam Asghari.

On Tuesday, one source told Page Six that her brother has been “helping” his sister around the house. “He’s been staying over and helping her alongside a therapist,” the insider said, calling Bryan’s presence “a great thing for all of” the family.

During her lengthy conservatorship battle, Bryan remained mostly silent. However, in a July 2020 podcast, he did admit that “having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating.”

Although Britney did not invite most of her family to her wedding to Sam Asghari, rumors emerged that she had invited her brother Bryan. However, Britney later cleared up those rumors on Instagram, publicly telling him, “You hurt me and you know it.”

On Thursday morning, the day after Sam Asghari filed for divorce, a source told Page Six that the pop star is still not “on good terms with her family” despite meeting up with them earlier this summer. “Her meeting with her mom, went OK, but there’s still a lot of hurt there, so they haven’t quite reconciled,” the source said. “Britney is still very angry with Jamie Lynn, too.”

In May, Lynne Spears traveled all the way from Louisiana to Los Angeles to meet with Britney at her home. The following month, Britney said that she visited her sister on the set of “Zoey 102,” although Jamie Lynn has never spoken publicly about how that visit went. One source actually told the outlet that Britney was lying about the visit, but it is unclear why she would make that assertion if it wasn’t true.

That same day, a source told TMZ that Britney was still “isolated” from her family. One insider told the outlet: “She has one confidant, [her manager] Cade [Hudson]. Then there’s her security team, and after that, her support system falls off a cliff.”

However, another source told the Daily Mail that Cade was only one of the many people “rallying” around the pop star amid her divorce. “She is not alone at all. Britney has her sister Jamie Lynn who is in and out of LA and she also has her mom Lynne, who is expected to arrive this weekend, if she has not flown in already,” the insider said. “She has a support system including her agent and longtime friend [and manager] Cade [Hudson], her friends which include several of her backup dancers and her girlfriends.”

In addition to her friends and family, the source claimed that the "Lucky" singer also “has a team of assistants and her chef who are always around the houses. She also has other workers who are constantly there.” It looks like many of her famous friends are coming out to support the pop star.

“This past week, Britney has been getting calls and texts from everyone she knows, including people she hasn’t spoken to in years,” the source added. “She will get through this. She has gotten through worse and no one will allow anything to happen to her.”

One of the people reportedly in Britney's corner is the Queen of Pop, Madonna, who has reportedly invited Britney to perform with her on one of the five tour stops in Los Angeles on her Celebration tour. If Britney does decide to perform, it will be her first live performance since her 13-year conservatorship was struck down by a judge in November 2021.
