Tallulah Willis is celebrating her small wins and is excited to share the news with the public.
The youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore earlier detailed her struggle with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia in a May 31 article for Vogue. Thankfully, she appears to be overcoming her battles and shared results to prove her tremendous progress.
Tallulah Willis Flaunts 'Healthy Body' With Past And Recent Pictures
The ''Whole Ten Yards'' actress, narrating her ongoing recovery journey, happily disclosed that she was progressively combating her eating disorder while professing her love for herself for not giving up
Taking to her Instagram, she shared a trio of images showcasing her looks' before and after. The first slide was a throwback mirror selfie of a thin and frail Tallulah, wearing a cream and pink cropped knitted sweater and white panties.
Her extremely flat tummy was on full display and her waist bone protruded to the side. The actress, who rocked a ginger hairstyle at the time, took the selfie in her massive closet.
In the following slide, she posted a recent photo of herself looking healthier. She had gained more weight and her stomach was slightly full. Revealing her chat with her two older sisters, Scout LaRue Willis and Rumer Willis, she gushed to them, writing, ''Look at my healthy body!!!! ☀️☀️.''
Her supportive sisters praised her for her efforts, with Scout noting, ''Looking strong and gorgina!'' While Rumer sweetly penned, ''You are beautiful.''
In the third slide, Tallulah shared a photo of a fruit platter with grapes and sliced melon. Captioning the post with a trigger warning caution, she wrote, ''~ TW: ED pre-recovery image ~ I love her. And I love her, and I see how courageous she's been. steady on the course my bbs ☀️.''
The ''Bandits'' actress added the hashtags #edrecovery and #iloveme to her post. Her motivating post amassed thousands of likes and prompted fans to praise her for being tenacious with her recovery journey.
One fan wrote, ''Keep on going you are doing amazing. You can do hard things. Also, is that a nipple sweater because omg I want one 😍.'' Her immediate elder sister, Scout, exclaimed, ''YESSSSSSS MY DELICIOUS QUEEN!!!!''
Another fan penned, ''This is so important. Thank you for being honest and real with this topic. Means a lot for the ED support network to know there is help. Our loved ones can truly have a full life in recovery 💕.''
A third commenter expressed, ''You are so beautiful to me. Inside and out ❤️.'' One admirer commended Tallulah for being transparent. They wrote, ''Your story is important. Thank you for sharing it 💕.''
''We love her too, young queen. You are light and joy, and we need you in the world. Forever proud,'' added a female fan. A sixth commenter chimed, ''rooting for you 🙌.'' A pleased fan applauded the 20-year-old actress for sharing her story with the world. They expressed, ''Your Vogue article changed my life. You look so healthy and beautiful 🥹.''
Tallulah's brave post about her healing journey comes three months after she had a heart-to-heart session with 'Vogue,' detailing her mental health struggles. ''The Scarlet Letter'' actress opened up about the situation of her mental health battle getting leaked to the press without her consent.
''The first time I entered psychiatric treatment, at age 20, my medical information found its way to the 'Daily Mail.' Back then the choice to tell my story was taken away from me," she wrote in an essay for the magazine. "Now, nine years and a whole lot of therapy later, I get to make that decision myself.''
Tallulah also admitted that she second-guessed sharing her story with the world because of judgmental remarks. In her words, ''And the fact that, although I believe that everyone's suffering is real, I have always felt afraid of looking like a spoiled, insensitive, whining jerk. I was reared to keep my mouth shut.''
Addressing her eating disorder journey, the 29-year-old revealed, "For the last four years, I have suffered from anorexia nervosa, which I’ve been reluctant to talk about because, after getting sober at age 20, restricting food has felt like the last vice that I got to hold on to."
The Los Angeles Native Boldy Flaunted Her Body In A Pink Bikini
A month before Tallulah shared her recovery post, she publicly embraced her imperfections and gave fans an unfiltered look at her body. In late July, the ''Moonlighting'' actress took to her Instagram to post a stunning picture of herself rocking a pink two-piece bikini.
She struck a signature pose in front of a window in her luxurious home, raising her hand above her head while looking sideways. Displaying her curves and toned thighs, she captioned the post, writing, ''Posting on main bc I'm hot.'' As expected, fans and famous friends of the actress raved over her racy snaps in the comments section.
Her sister, Scout, commented, ''Yesssssss.'' Talented actress, Liv Tyler, dropped a heart emoji on the post while director, Zoey Grossman, wrote, ''Indeed you are,'' along a string of heart and fire emojis.
Staunch supporters of the ''Army Wives'' actress also commented on how ''healthy'' and ''beautiful'' she looked.
